Will have to ask her for the exact spot. But most stores and houses there don't have cameras from what I know.

Some gits tried to run over my mum. She was crossing the street and when she was halfway across the driver of the waiting car stepped on the gas. She barely managed to jump out of the way. I wish someone had seen the license plate.

I have no idea. I never tried the multiplayer to be honest. I have a friend who is very active in the multiplayer thing and who as in FUMBBL as well. So all I know is based on badgering him for info.

Us buggers? Thats Ros and me. We need Rosbjerg to stop having an awesome time with the wimin and sign up. Then we need to force Alan to buy the game. That would give us enough people for the tiny cup edit: Wait, Raithe has it as well. So we are four. We need two more to make a nice 6 team league.

Blood Bowl. The sport of gentlemen. (and currently still 75% off for another 7 hours)

New job, new flat, new city. Things deffinitly were looking awesome.

I looked around the options for setting up the league. A rookie league would mean we could start new teams just for it. I think the minimum number of teams is 4. I would prefer 6. As I understand it, we can't have AI teams - all spots must be filled with real people or AIs pretending to be real people on a forum. We have the choice of setting it up as a Cup, Championship, Competition, League... whatever. There are about twenty different images for the cup.

Today I looked at my forum profile and noticed that I was 34 years old... when did that happen? I could swear I am not a day older than 28.

Disclaimer: Blame Walsingham Nuffle Wants You! or something like that. After a discussion with a fellow worshipper of Nuffle, the idea was born (through Nuffle's guidance no doubt) that a Blood Bowl league for the forum would be in order. I think the exact words of the prophet of Nuffle were: "Go forth obsidianites and bring gratuitous violence onto the pitch." The question then is: Are there people interested? fine print: Blame Walsingham

Gave up on Duck Tales Remastered. I can beat the whole game without losing a life. After the boss fight though there is a short platforming bit. A race against time. I can beat that. Once htat is done though, there is another platforming section. Another race against time, this time with rising lava. As I get there with full lives, I should be all good. Problem is that if you fail once, on your next attempt the lava starts higher and rises faster. The logic apparently being: "This part giving you trouble? Let's make it harder for you then!" That is so beyond stupid that I just can't be bothered to put up with it. Started Castle of Illusion instead. A lot more went into this game tech wise it seems. Will see how it holds up to annoyance.

Was playing Defiance. The DLC added some new weapons (charge blades) which can only be bought at a specificfaction vendor for excorbitant prices. The best one costs 500k. I have been playing since around May and had to farm the last 100k to afford it. I have been pondering since yesterday whether I should now spend all my hard earned cash on the blade and then be broke. Today I decided once more to step away and think about it before clicking the buy button. While I was stepping away, Defiance had maintenance. When I came back three hours later, an unanounced patch was added which made some sneaky changes: it reduced the prices at this specific vendor. The rare blade I was considering buying and hadn't, instead of 500k, now costs ... 15k... people who had bought it more than a couple of hours ago are furious - obviously.

I did, but it's not funny. And doesn't say if that's what you actually receive when pickpocketing, either. Could just be a lore scroll one finds on a table for all I know. I don't think sorophx actually used the pickpocket ability on the tree. He read the poem and it inspired the screenshot.

Red and Blue heraldry. Blue uniforms. edit: in games, from Dune 2 onward uniforms were changed to red and Atreides were given the blue ones. Seems to have been a marketing decission because of lingering Cold War indoctrination: the good guys in popular media cannot be Red (Similar to how the glow in the original Tron movie had to be changed ) edit 2: funny enough the games also took away the green uniforms of House Atreides and gave them to House Ordo. The colour red would, before Dune 2, be mostly associated with House Atreides (even though it was one of the two Harkonnen colours) because of Atreides heraldry being a red Hawk.

Black and Green are the colours of House Atreides in the Dune universe.

I'm at 70. Should have the last 30 by the end of the week if people die a bit at Dark Matter arkfalls.

BMG depends on the weapons used by everyone else. If you have a number of people with sniper rifles, the damage spike will probably kill it before the next BMG tick. At least whenever I used BMG or infectors I didn't get the killshot.
-
You are looking into going fully solar powered at home so you can recharge your device?
-
I'm getting annoyed You will finish that pursuit before me... I have done 69 revives. 31 to go, then I need the killshot on the progenitor. Indeed, Dark Matter Arkfalls should make those last revives happen quite fast. I don't think I have ever seen anyone use grenade launchers in PvP. Probably the first grenade does full damage, burns through the shield and then the rest all do reduced damage as whatever perks the person is using kick in. I found a huge difference between having rank 1 powers and perks and having them all maxed.

Feel free to post you actual build and weapon stats . Maybe I can think of something. I have an arkfall to run to, I'll post you my complete setup for PvP later edit: ok here goes my current set up: Bloodlust: 3% ego recharge on dealing damage, cooldown 5sec Pumped Up: Fully reloading weapon recharges Ego 15% Failsafe: 12% less damage while shield is recharging Rear Guard: 30% less damage from behind Cellular Armor: 6% less damage Regeneration: 3% HP regen Shadowed Strike: 30% more damage while cloaked Shadow's Core: -9 sec recharge on cloak Infiltrator: +6 sec Cloack duration I am thinking of replacing bloodlust with Sucker Punch for the 15% damage from behind. My current shield is a hurricane berserker with +5% fire rate on shield break.

There is apparently stil quite a bit of cheating going on. I got one-shot by a bunny hopper with a SMG *shrug* Last Freight Yard I played I got 5/4/2 (kills/deaths/assists). Of those deaths one was to someone using an aim-hack (he repeatedly one-shots me, regardless of weapon used, scoring headshots even while turning in mid-air) and manning the cerberus turret - I was cloacked and rolling into cover and he still managed to one-shot me. Then again, getting cought in the open by a cerberus is supposed to be a death sentence. A second death was to a charge sniper rifle. I expected that to come eventually as I was defending a capture point. Not much you can do but keep moving and hope you are not presenting yourself to the eventual sniper long enough for them to fully charge a shot, line up the shot and take the shot. *shrug* Had I thought quicker I could have avoided another death but hey that's life. My kills were mostly cheap, but not what attackers shouldn't have expected: VOT Nano-Fragger from cloacked. One person got one-shot that way, two survived and I emptied the clip of my SMG into them. A fourth had just killed someone on my team and was weakened. The last kill was your average shoot-out: two people with automatic weapons firing at each other Charge sniper rifles are currently the flavour of the month in Shadow War. You can oneshot people at extreme range. Sawed-off shotguns got nerfed, but can still be deadly if you position yourself right and/or enemies allow you to get in close behind them. Nano-Fragger is my weapon of choice, though I hear others prefer Couriers. Some people now use charge blades. Those can apparently be quite deadly. A favourid for bunny hoppers are infectors. I think its the Immunizer that has the range of a sniper rifle without the need to aim? Then again that one was up for a nerf. Canker is a favourid of many as it does the highest damage without parasites. SMGs seem to be the most common backup weapon, though I have been killed by assault rifles I have heard of people having fully modded BMGs to finish their enemy off. Died to one once. Perks are important. You need the proper perks for your PvP build: reduced damage, reduced damage when shot in the back so you don't get one-shot by cloackers. From there on a lot can be usefull. Bloodlust (or what its called) to recharge your ego power when you deal damge seems to be popular. I have reduced cloack cooldown, increased cloack duration and decreased cooldown on full reload (that means that at the start of the match I can shoot my sawed-off shotgun three times and the reloads charge up my cloack before we een see the enemy). A nice perk also is the one that has you take half damage for a (very) short while when your shield breaks. I currently use bonus damage when attacking from cloack and bonus damage when shooting in the back though.
