  1. Finally got a perfect score on a game in Game Dev Tycoon: http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/524961421214489211/A1B73A9E7E7CF124C4A0FD1AFE5D6211B083A357/ A Teddy Bear for Leibowitz - a post apocalyptic rpg, targeted at a mature audience, with Teddy Bears. Originally the title was going to be Bearout. Then I changed it to A Canticle for Bearowitz. Then A Canticle for Bear and eventually to the final title. Seems it was the right decission.
  2. https://twitter.com/adam_brennecke/statuses/395452033920421888 Very tempted to turn that into an animated gif to use as a profile pic
  3. Lucky. I got swarmed by juggernauts in the early game. Couldn't move my troops out of the base and couldn't help them as the Juggernauts had Imp Fighter above them and upgraded Hunters on the beach to support them, that shot me down when I finally spawned.
  4. Where did you find the term??? Screenshots of the backer website.
  5. Silly question perhaps. But regarding the before/after pictures of the Stronghold. Why did you cut down the trees next to the amphitheatre? Would it not make more sense to clear the trees outside the walls? Those would have given cover to enemies the walls are protecting from. The ones near the amphitheatre did not obstruct view of the stage. Instead they gave residents of the stronghold some welcome shade while sitting and watching the show. Save the amphitheatre trees! *hands out flyers*
  6. well, if anyone ends up getting Dungeon Defenders, do look me up. I wouldn't mind some co-op.
  7. It's up for pre-purchase on Steam. But they too only have a Comming Soon.
  8. It also lowers the danger of disappointment due to too high expectations
  9. I wish I had done that. Out of a whim a couple of years ago I re-installed Bet On Soldier. It wasn't a very good game, but the fact that you would get cash pop-ups based on your kill shots, and the whole reality tv thing they had going, gave it a bit of a Running Man atmosphere. And while Arnold movies are terrible, some of the old ones had some charm. A windows 7 conflict with the old Securom killed my computer. Took me two days to get it working again. But now that some of those games are really old, it gets hard finding cracks for them. At least I found a Chaos League: Sudden Death crack.
  10. The difficulty ramps up quite a bit. Just beat level 10 after quite a few tries. Felt good though. On to level 11. After that I'll be done with the Milk Mining operations at Creamy Cove and will proceed to the Mouldy Depths and then the Curdling Gulf. Game seems to have 25 levels plus a continuous mode (Infinite Espresso) which I haven't tried yet.
  11. Yeah. Basically people keep confusing those who are looking to justify their piracy (and who'd most likely simply find a different excuse for their piracy) with the people who actually are against DRM, believing it does more harm than good. One of the Shadowrun moderators for example went as far as saying that it was a good thing Shadowrun Returns was a Steam exclusive, because if it was released on GOG, then it would be pirated. Because GOG=piracy if you didn't know... I must confess it was the one situation where I was tempted to download and seed a pirated version of the game simply because of such... ach must not get upset
  12. The usual Steam fanboi rethoric that has managed to grab hold of even otherwise normal people (like Hurly) : you believe that when you pay a game you should be able to just enjoy it without hoops to jump through and the danger of it not running once your operating system gets "upgraded" ? You must be a criminal. My personal opinion is that most forms of DRM = bad (I have a soft spot for the old Lucas Arts adventure games). I also believe that if something is worth spending time on (and worth stealing), then it is worth paying money for. edit: also: Hurlshot if you ever feel up to a game of Blood Bowl...
  13. At least you are ahead when it comes to time zones
  14. Incidentally, ducks usually aren't affraid of water. But quite possibly of thrown tomatoes.
  15. Moar Aqua Kitty. I'm addicted to the chiptune.
  16. The only thing about Assassin's Creed I know is that they had that cute management person. Jade what'shername. Decided that wasn't reason enough for me to bother though.
  17. And bringing this back on track: Aqua Kitty defending Milk Mine 02:
  18. When you're a stranger Faces look ugly When you're alone Women seem wicked when you're unwanted Streets are uneven when you're down When you're strange Faces come out of the rain When you're strange No one remembers your name
  19. So as not to derail the "Pictures" thread any further than we already have, replying to Keyrock here. Not to derail this thread any further (okay, I will), but what is this Contrast you speak of? (and to not be completly off topic here either) I am playing "waiting for Contrast to release": Other than that I am playing Aqua Kitty: Milk Mine Defender
  20. I'll let you know how Contrast works out when that comes out soon.
