Early on the cards were selling well. A friend sold a few for $50 each. My personal record was $5... Then it normalised and settled to what it is now. You can still sometimes get a dollar or two if it is a super popular game and you sell a rare card really early, but the crazies who threw cash at the system have moved on to throwing cash at something else.

I tried out the Underspace demo. It is a Freelancer type of game. You fly about in a terrible rust bucket, earn money to get a better ship, earn money to equip the ship and buy an even betterer ship. It is lacking some quality of life features that Freelancer had - no cycling targets for example or goto button when selecting a waypoint. What it does have is weird space storms where you fight eldritch monsters while dodging tentacles.

That may be something they added late in the game's life. Homecoming is a bit wacky though, as a lot of events throughout the game's life are active at the same time. You have the council attacking the fifth column in the streets of Atlas Park, while Faultline has already been flooded by Arachnos. I am not sure if all stories are still accessible. At least some early arcs may have gone when the meteor crashed into Galaxy City, destroying the second hero starting area, to have the players concentrated in one busier zone.

I liked the intro in Saints Row. I like the player character trying to keep an honest job as a Merc and get a paycheck. Yeah, it aims at a different audience, but I realised I am this audience as well I found the jailbreak intro of SR2 the most powerful, but the reimagined SR's the most enjoyable. The bank robbery in SR3 I found annoying and nearly quit playing because of it.

Everyone hated those. Some of those underground cities are huge. Blasters are glass cannons. You will die a lot, Shady. Scappers and Brutes I found quite good to survive with solo. And of course Masterminds - just summon your own team of friends.

Hmm, I am on Reunion with: Spider from Mars, an Arachnos Soldier, Rogue, security threat level 38 - starting a journey of redemption after braking Ziggy's sweet hands. Pooka, Merc Mastermind, Villain, security threat level 18 - learning the ways of paramilitaries on earth to overthrow the rulers of Croatoa and become the faery queen. Aconitine, Thug Mastermind, Praetorian Resistance, threat level 11 - alternate earth version of my old character in a personal war against Crey Industries. VROOM, Scrapper, security clearance level 8 - Gremlins don't fix things. But they could if they want to and VROOM wants to. Nuclear Wastewater, Corruptor, security clearance level 2 - just messing around with the costume creator and have no idea what this character is about.

I just started Children of Ruin. If it is even a fraction as good as Children of Time, it will be a great read.

For space flight freelancer/elite) decent type gameplay I suggest: Hell Galaxy early access. It is still so badly optimised, when you are done with Loadscreens, you'll be able to play Horizon Forbidden West.

Returns was good, simple Shadowrun fun. Mismanaged funds, but fun game. Dragonfall was great Shadowrun fun. Hong Kong I got bored and didn't finish.

I got a free key through Shady from the giveaway thread and felt guilty for hating the game - feeling the key was wasted on me. I am beginning to understand that I sacrificed myself and saved someone else from playing it.

Possibly the best character creator yet. Which Saints Row already was know for, so it being an improvement over the previous, kinda makes it the best by default. The prosthetics were a great addition. I briefly considered restarting the game and making a young boss with flawless skin, and after each Insurance Fraud side hustle, adding bruises and eventually prosthetics, to reflect the results of the mini game.
