  1. Of course Azura has her fun with that, with that vision at the very start of the game. "Oh, so you think you can create a fake chosen one? Let's see how you like me turning them into an actual chosen one." then *mutters* "Call me an Anticipation, did they?" Or at least that is how I imagine the Morrowind plot in a nutshell.
  2. I still have a character in Champions Online parked in an instance that doesn't exist anymore. If I load her up, the instance is spawned just for her out of some code graveyard.
  3. My grandad was in "exile" on "Makronisos" after the civil war. No thanks, I have heard his first hand account of islands like that - I am happy to not go to any of them whatever the country and name
  4. The death threat sounds blown out of proportion. It seems more like an employee venting. Mind, my family has been receiving death threats since before I was born, so I have a different attitude towards the subject.
  5. release date trailer. I am bored of every video they bring out advertising the same handful of companions. Has the game nothing else to offer than "the party you have to gather before venturing forth may include a space woof"
  6. Quick maths, if the game has made $200.000 and been installed 300.000 times, the Devs will pay unity $15.000 ?
  7. Basically it seems they are trying to blackmail Devs into using more unity stuff in their games: Qualifying customers may be eligible for credits toward the Unity Runtime Fee based on the adoption of Unity services beyond the Editor
  8. So you could get a script to loop installation and uninstall, to create costs for a Dev studio, once it passes the $200.000 in revenue Here is the official unity blog post about it: https://blog.unity.com/news/plan-pricing-and-packaging-updates
  9. Well, you should have figured that out, when right off the boat that random monk went on about Living Ones, Wings Of Fire, and being Reborn. Still, being the Living One and actually being Nasrudin are two different things.
  10. I finally went around to beat the "mini campaign" after the end of the main story of King Arthur: Knight's Tale. In the end the boss fights were very anti-climatic, as my max level team of Mordred, Sir Balan, Queen Morgawse, and Queen Guinevere needed three turns to kill any boss at that point. I could have probably swapped Morgawse for Boudica and cut one turn with some well placed backstabs. Then again, it isn't the worst thing in a game to see the characters you spend many hours building to be efficient killing machines actually perform exactly that way.
  11. Read an article saying development of the new version of the game is already far along, past alpha (which should mean it is in beta), and that we'll see a gameplay trailer in January. They need 4-5 months of beta to get it to a point where gameplay is presentable for a trailer?
  12. I think the most important thing in Morrowind is to make some item of levitation early on. Unlike Skyrim, you can float upward and pass over any obstacle. It might take time to float up to wherever, but it is so nice not to need to run around ten hills and fight a dozen random mirelurks
  13. With a name like that, I would not publicly admit ever coming across that development team. What would people think of me!
  14. I just assumed it was a Sherlock Holmes short story. The Hound of Baskerville The speckled band The Chinese room
  15. I have played through that a few times. Some missions are annoying. Others super fun.
  16. The Chinese Room Devs talking how awesome TCR is. Then you realise that TCR is short for The Chinese Room and that they have been talking about themselves the whole video. It's a bit awkward.
  17. In general I would advise against holding one's breath when it comes to games development. How much more when the game is already many years delayed and on its second Dev team.
  18. Hey, you could be a nekkid hot woman in Saint's Row reboot. People still review bombed it for being woke but Vampire always had a bit of eroticism in the genre, and you can't cut that out. It isn't a vampire story without some seduction. Some forbidden promises whispered in an ear. The lips slowly traveling lower. Without the goosebumps as they brush the neck. And the white flash as the fangs come out and pierce the flesh. and you know why they only let me paint cats and not write anymore
  19. I am open to them proving themselves up to the task to make a fun game. It turns out even Werewolf: Earthblood was actually good (in an AA or possibly Aa kind of way). The WoD has potential for good games.
