None of the information in this article is really new, but it still gives me wood.

What are you playing now?
Starting up a game of Of Orcs and Men. Just getting my feet wet, but I like it so far. Then again, I am an Orc-o-phile, so putting me in control of an Orc and a Goblin is automatic bonus points.

Like many jRPGs, Septerra Core gets quite tedious after a while.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
Honestly, at this point, I'd rather they keep making Risen games. The first Risen game was great until the final 15-20%, which was just plain tedious. Risen 2 was a bit of a letdown, but still a good game. I honestly like the direction they went with for Risen 2, going with the pirate motif and all, they just didn't execute it nearly as well as I had hoped. I hope they keep going in that direction.

Realistically the division crown is already out of reach for the Rays, you just don't make up 7 1/2 games in 3 weeks. Mathematically it could still happen, but the chances are exceedingly slim. The way I see it, the Sawx are heading for 97 wins (11-8 in their final 19 games seems realistic and maybe even somewhat conservative), that number is definitely out of reach for the Rays (they would have to go a blistering 20-2), especially if they keep pulling a 2011 Sawx (it's a painful joke to make, but one I had to). Only sweeping the Sawx would give the Rays even the smallest glimmer of hope. Presumably it will be Buchholz starting for the first game of the series (nice way to get tossed right into the fire in his return), who would the Rays be sending out on Tuesday?

Sawx keep trying to help the Rays out by breaking the Yankees' backs... Who am I kidding, helping out the Rays is an unintended side effect, breaking the Yankees' backs is a labour of love. While no definitive announcement has been made, there were no setbacks in Buchholz's final rehab start and he showed good velocity and command. Presumably, he'll make his return on Tuesday.

I want another Bowser or Gannon
I'm not particularly looking for an ultimate bad guy (or gal) of any specific type, necessarily. My main concern is that they have well thought out and constructed complex motivations set up so that you can kind of see things from their perspective and almost sympathize with them. I definitely don't want an enemy who just strictly relies of brute force and violence. Enemies who act through cunning and trickery, often operating completely within the laws, bending and twisting those laws to their benefit and the detriment of others, are far more interesting and frightening than the bloodthirsty warlord who crushes villages with his horde.

Playing Might & Magic X and having a great time. It's so old school and clunky. It's amazing how much more tactical it is than many more "modern" RPGs despite its simplistic design. There is a certain joy to manipulating the turn-based, grid-based system to gain advantage on your foes and keep from getting flanked or surrounded. I can't wait until the full game comes out.

That's six blown saves for Mo now. That puts him tied for 4th in the AL. Wish the Rangers had kept Uehara (and Napoli too). Napoli has been fairly mediocre, he has had his moments, though. Uehara has been spectacular, he's a godsend.

Sawx won a wild one at Yankee Stadium last night. They were up by 5 entering the 7th, proceeded to give up a 6 run inning to go down 1, were down to their final strike in the 9th with Mo on the mound, battled back to tie the game, then won it in the 10th. Beating the Yankees is always sweet, giving Mo a blown save is an extra bonus. Coupled with the Rays' loss the Sawx now have the division firmly in hand. Getting swept at The Trop would be the only way they could give Tampa any shot at the division. Sawx are essentially playing for home field advantage now.

Not the community patch, that fixes bugs, puts in better AI, and adds graphical options. The quest packet and content mods add quests. Yes, a good number of them are fetch quests.

Well, you'd only have to buy 1. The 3DS plays DS games and the GBC game is available on the 3DS eShop too. But, yeah.

Pey Pey and the Broncos took the defending champs out to the woodshed last night. Man, that was a beatdown. Still, it's opening game of the season, so I'm not reading more into it than 1 win and 1 loss and that the Ravens have a really shaky secondary, which we already knew.

I know, it's maddening. We're stuck with Jerry for the foreseeable future. I wish he would just swallow his pride and hire a real GM... and actually let him do his job, rather than pull the strings from the background. *sigh*

I like Freeman, but he was bitterly disappointing last year. He seemed to regress. So much of the blame for the Cowboys being stuck in perpetual mediocrity gets put on Tony Romo. Sure, he deserves some of it, but the 'Boys have much bigger problems, the biggest of which is the GM (unfortunately, also the owner).

Correct. Previously it has only appeared on Nintendo handhelds. The first game was one of the very best GameBoy Color games (that unfortunately came out when the GBC was already a dead system), the second was a DS game, the third is scheduled for later this year on the 3DS. This project will mark the first time the series has come to home consoles and PC. It's a metroidvania where you play as a half-genie who whips enemies with her hair and does magic dances to transform into different creatures.

Rejoice! It's that wonderful time again, football season is upon us! Kickoff is tonight, Ravens at Broncos, which is weird, since the champs usually get to play at home for the opener. I'm a Cowboys fan myself, so I'm already bracing for yet another season of heartbreak and disappointment.

Yeah, I know. I wish the Sawx could save 15 of those runs for some other games. A 3 game set at The Trop, perhaps?

I, along with others, left them a comment telling them to change back her skin color. I also prefer the old look:
