The adventurous atmosphere in Deadfire is pretty much spot on, I just wish there were even more dialogue and companion options and deep narrative.

This might be unrelated, but my only CTD was when I used the lift in Delver's Row for like the third time going down. I had both conches on me, since I wanted to go down again and check a certain room I hadn't been able to open before, and it was then, the CTD happened. It's my only crash in 56h, so perhaps there's something odd in the lift transitions in the Gullet, using plural.

The issue is already logged since backer beta 1, in late 2017, IIRC. No need for pics. This always occur. Let's say that you have to text bark strings from two NPCs, then the text messages overlap. Most of the time you can't read it on screen. They all do, in the entire game. What's needed is the same script that makes for instance a door icon move when a character's ability icons or the hub icon for crafting potions interfere. The script is already in-game, it just needs to be applied to barkstring text messages.

In numerous cases throughout the game, two different text messages in the same spot happens, and then one will overlap the other. This need to be fixed with a script so that each text window automatically stay clear of others if present, veering off the side of each other. There is also an overlap problem in our hub. When the spell/ability icons of our characters are open above their portraits (if they are placed in the centre), and you have the combat log to the right, those far to the right overlap the combat log, making for an unintelligible mess. In this case, the overlapping character abilities and spells need to take priority and be clearly visible when overlapping the log.

Hi! Is not the Paladin's faith feature a problem for role playing? Have you figured out the details on how Disposition exactly work? On the contrary, that's one of their winning features to me. I love those restrictions, since they keep me even better in tune with my character's role, and at the same time I can slide away too far and face the consequences. I really dig that! For instance, in my playthrough, my Bleakwalker was a bit too diplomatic for her own good, so over time, like 40h into the game, she got a red circle and all for that, suffering a bit worse defences for it, but I just keep playing - no reloads.

IndiraLightfoot replied to Casper's question in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
As long as each attribute subtraction is kept in one update on our characters, it should be fine. That ugly -2, -2, -2, -2 spam, for instance, that qualifies as a bug in itself.
