  1. I agree. I was hoping more Durlag's Tower or Watcher's Keep. Dragon's Eye doesn't inspire a lot of confidence.
  2. I wouldn't say the vote was a farce. What I would say is inXile probably knew the majority of backers wouldn't vote due to apathy which is what happened. 80% of people didn't vote. That means 80% of backers, the vast majority of backers don't care. What was shown was the more passionate backers did vote and you'll find some rpg gaming forums are even quite rabid with their preference for TB combat. So it's no surprise to me that TB won the vote. All backers had the opportunity to vote, 80% didn't.
  3. I'd be interested to know how Obsidian will implement these new stretch goals through funding. Presumably, it will be on their own website and new and existing customers will be able to pledge additional funds through the backer site.
  4. I don't think Obsidian knows what will be in the Expansion Pack as they're still working on the main game and it's a year away from being completed. I imagine it will be something like Tales of the Sword Coast (for Baldur's Gate) with extra quests, areas and all that sort of stuff. With or without the expansion, you'll still be able to finish the main game, just like you can do with Baldur's Gate
  5. Apr 2014 was for the initial game without stretch goals. Since having all the stretch goals of extra classes, races, big cities, etc, it's been pushed back at least 6 months for all that extra stuff which does make sense imo.
  6. It's not in the $140 tier but it should be in the $250 tier according to the Kickstarter site. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/obsidian/project-eternity
  7. Justin bell is doing a sterling job. Have really enjoyed the music that's come out so far.
  8. I'd like to know the lore and history of the setting that a normal traveller would know. Just enough so I'd know the difference between the races and some basic history.
  9. It's in the survey on the Backer site. Just fill in the details on the survey.
  10. If you're logged into the forums, then you should already be logged into the Backer site when you go there.
  11. I'm sure Obsidian will add the missing items. They'll just need to check what's on the Kickstarter site against the Backer site and update accordingly.
  12. And that's what some people are expecting now. For Obsidian to update people before an official update is put up. A demand wrapped up into 'it would be nice...'. And when Obsidian don't confirm before an official update, then they get all butt hurt and disappointed. At any rate, it looks like the backer site will probably be up as there's been some changes today on the forums and the eternity website.
  13. Darren's been on all day and Obsidian's eternity website has slightly changed. The slacker backer option has been taken off.
  14. Considering Obsidian have taken down the Project Eternity Logo again, maybe there will be an update this week with the backer site.
  15. I don't see the point in having a company beholden to you (or others) for them to tell you if an update will come out before an official update will come out so you can decide if you want to go to bed or not. Pretty much what the above image says.
  16. If Obsidian gave an update on Monday to say they'll be giving an update on Tuesday, then I'm sure people will be asking for an update the Friday before to find out if there will be an update on Monday to find out if there will be an update on Tuesday. Because after all, isn't that the courteous and considerate thing to do?
