Correct. Hence the update last week telling us. Pure speculation. No facts at all. Believe that conspiracy theory. No miscommunication. And no white knighting at all. All you did was create a thread, speculate and jumped the gun. Keep playing that victim card with the forum having a go at poor sensuki (because he gets his posts wrong).

And what was C2B calling the dev's out on? The dev's said last week the portal wouldn't be up and gave no indication when it would be up since last week. Keep believing that conspiracy theory that the dev's are misleading the community. There's been no posts that says they have.

Where is the logical implication? There isn't one, logical or otherwise. Last week Obsidian stated the site wouldn't be up. Full Stop. That's it. There hasn't been any other news that the site would be up a week later. All we have is nerd raging, threads being created and people like yourself saying, 'oh but there's a logical implication' where there is none. The only logical implications are those people who create them in their own fantasy reality.

No. Nice try though. Did you even read C2B's first post? Last week's update is 68. The below quote from C2B says, "Last weeks excuse was very reasonable". Last week was Update 68. C2B's quote today "Last weeks excuse was very reasonable' This weeks update is basically the fan art that was posted on Monday and Adam's comments today. Now if C2B is referring to some other update from last week that isn't Update 68, then feel free to enlighten me.

No, you just accused Obsidian for being deceptive which they haven't been. You never did explain how Obsidian have been somewhat deceptive. Probably because you can't.

And creating threads, saying Obsidian lied, are dishonest with their backers and pointing accusations at Obsidian is also constructive. Well this has been fun.

And they posted in the previous update that the site wouldn't be up. That's fine with me and goes with what I said months ago. I was very doubtful it would be up and still think it 'might' be up before Christmas. Oh and obligatory BISIMG for the drama queens.

No dishonesty. There was always going to be a delay and the only people disappointed are those who speculate and make threads time and again by getting peoples hopes up by suggesting the big update will be this week. And then when it isn't, they make another thread a week or so later saying this week will be the big update. I even made a post months ago that it will take some months to do this site, hopefully before Christmas.

They didn't lie to us. Still waiting.

Really like what you've done here. Good work! How long can we use this excuse? Presumably they've been working on it for over a year plus outsourcing, yet a random forum post can show them up with 3 hours of work. These screenshots are bland, uninspired, and appear to have been thrown together in about 10 minutes playing in a world builder. I wouldn't be so quick to show off unfinished work like this over a year into production. No offense, but updates lately have been sparse and extremely meh. Nothing impressive since the animated waterfall scene. Updates like this do more harm than good, but maybe I'm alone on that. I agree. It would be good to see some transitional before and after screen shots. Something similar to what Mazhiekov has done. While it's nice to see the unfinished screen shots, it would be good to see the finished screen shots as well.

I agree that the Drake bones look too new, it looks like someone raided a museum and laid the bones out. As someone who grew up in rural areas it's not how bones deteriorate. Just google 'dead cow carcase' or some other animal and you'll see how bones deteriorate over time.

How long does it take to do one of those areas?

Looking forward to your feedback with bugs and all. A year later, BG:EE still has bugs. And going by the BG2EE bug forum, looks like Beamdog is keeping up their track record. I wouldn't waste my time on BG2EE. Bitten once, twice shy for me.
