Actually, I could see them designing a WiiU multiplayer game set in the PE universe. Obviously the style of the game they're currently going with wouldn't work. But a modified version would, and the WiiU has enough memory that a DM + PCs setup could work. Penny Arcade made a point about that regarding D&D, but there's no reason it wouldn't work with a similar setup to the one Obsidian's running for PE. Or they could talk to Paizo and seeing if they're interested in doing a Pathfinder WiiU game.

It's pretty clear they undergauged both total interest and intensity of that interest. They also should have taken a good look at Inxile, Grim Dawn, Planetary Annihilation, and DFA's stretch goals and had more tacked down at the start of the KS. But really those are minor quibbles, things are going fine as they are, although they need to make more far reaching stretch goals for the final 5 days.

Obsidian's problem with dev time has never really been the fact that dev time wasn't long enough, with the exception of New Vegas since 11-12 months REALLY is a short dev time, it's been they've expected generally x dev time and then suddenly the publisher comes back 8 months till projected release and says they want to release it in 2 months.

So basically you want to enable something like the critical hit deck. -
Monetary system

Personally I want diamonds to be worth what they actually are. Which is very little. It would be amusing to me if even the poorest houses had a piece of jewelry with diamonds in it. -
A dog companion?

No. I will however, accept either Honey Badger, Alaspinian Miniature Dragon, or Tree-cat -
Exactly, there are so many flaws with him claiming asylum in the Ecuadorian embassy and not wanting to go to Sweden. Primarily there is a much stronger extradition treaty between the UK and USA. If the USA wanted to extradite him they would have requested it. Why wait till he gets to Sweden? I am convinced that there are legitimate charges he is trying to avoid in Sweden Okay. US brands Assange an 'enemy of the state' - just like al-Quaeda - because Sweden http://www.tgdaily.c...-like-al-quaeda Actually, the military branded him and wikileaks an enemy of the state for the express purpose of being able to bring treason charges the next time some discontented little **** decides to give classified info out. Instead of the much weaker espionage charges that were leveled against Manning. In any case regarding Assange he's almost certainly a narcissistic sociopath.

Just how Easy will Easy be?

In fairness, the recent trend is for games to not have cheats. This doesn't apply to the Sims as a quick google search shows, but many games do not have cheats from the start. -

If the story is good and varied enough you'd probably see my 5th or 6th characters going easy mode simply to run through. Either that or I'll go the cheating god route. Probably the latter as it results in much funnier battles. -

Killed me. ...but, to answer your question - in one of the updates I believe it have been said, that you will be able to get through the game even without some, or any, party members. So your easy would't probably be less easy than regular Infinity Easy. Unless they completely FUBAR things up, it will probably be significantly easier, as a large part of the difficulty was poor control schemes and the fact that 2nd ed did not translate to computer well at all. Also, I continue to maintain THAC0 should die in a fire. -
The problem with the term Bioware romance is that the romances in BGII were bioware romances and were very well done. Except for Aerie. Mainly because I wanted to a take a sledgehammer to her face she was so ****ing annoying. In fairness however, her annoyingness quotient had little to do with the romance. Hell, even some of the modern romances, if you ignore the mannequin sex which is admittedly somewhat difficult, aren't that badly written for a game romance. Way to amp up the general creepiness level of this thread, ****. Maybe he just really likes John Norman and Terry Goodkind novels. Be glad he's not a Jack L. Chalker fan or he'd be wanting half-ungulate retarded prostitutes

Since there's a player house the closest thing to a sex scene that would be not completely asinine would be for the PC and romance to share the same room at/near the end of the romance arc. So instead of being in/starting off in(depending on whether they move around in the house autonomously) their normal place, they're in the PC's room. Then again, that probably wouldn't work for certain character archetypes. Dunno, it depends on how much customization there is of the house vs random stuff appearing after quest completion. Like a dragon's skull over the entryway after you take one down.

This. I was hoping for a mod kit confirmation. Or a well loved voice actor volunteering to voice a companion at 2.3 or something but that one is pure wishing. Mod kit will almost certainly be one of the final 3-day rush stretch goals if they do it at all. Be stupid from a funding standpoint not to position it that way. Not to mention they're still probably deciding all the stretch goals they want to complete BEFORE the mod kit stretch goal.

http://nymag.com/daily/intel/2012/09/mitt-romney-joke-joking-airplane-windows.html Romney was joking about the plane, which was made clear in the original press pool transcript. The LAT being so far in the bag for Obama they can't see daylight, purposefully ignored that for their story and reported it as being serious.
