  1. I don't have an idea for a god here, but how about a prison for gods. Maybe run by ex-servants (angelic beings) or disgruntled followers/magic users. They see all gods as inherently destructive (even those who seem benign) and so see themselves as crusaders out to protect and free the world from the gods, by removing them from the world at large and imprisoning them. Maybe even have these crusaders somehow drawing on some of the power of these imprisoned gods to enable them to take on tougher and tougher gods (sort of like reverse clerics)
  2. So what you are saying is no one is allowed to offer criticism of anything. Then you go all apple fanboi and accuse people of "nerdrage". Next you will be accusing people of being haterz. Sigh. I don't think anyone was attacking Josh for his map or the game. They (including me) were just saying there is some flaws in the map at the moment that could be improved.
  3. Not to impressed with the Britannia map, but the PE map needs it's whole river system redone. Don't know of any singular river systems that empties on so many coastlines. Roleplaying a map with that sort of river system is like trying to roleplay in an mmorpg with people running past with names like "darkkillerzz76" Not to bothered if they decide to keep the name "The World" though, since why would would the inhabitants have a special name for their world, unless they are aware other worlds exist, and so need to distinguish it.
  4. I am hugely excited for Project: Eternity. And i am a huge fan of Obsidian and this is not a knock at Obsidian and I am in no way saying the kickstarter is a failure. I just think they could have done more to build the excitement on their kickstarter. I feel the stretch goals were vague afterthoughts and feel if they had put the same level of thought and detail of the 2.3 stretch goal into the earlier stretch-goals they might be further along in their crowd-sourcing. I also think it would have been a bit better to time the ending of the kickstarter for later in the week, (rather than a Tuesday), so they could build a bit more excitement for the end.(After all more funds means more can be added to the game.) What improvements (if any) do others think might help the kickstarter project attract more backers?
