Sounders play the Quakes tonight. It'll be interesting to see how much they play Ruidiaz. But mid-week matches though: too many subs.

I'm not expecting much from the Seahawks this year; maybe 7-9. They've had too many sub-par drafts in a row, still have a mediocre O-line, and they got rid of Sherman and Bennett -- two excellent defenders. Ah well. I still like Coach Pete Carroll though, and I'll bet he'll get the team turned around in a year or two. Maybe.

Mars 2 and Cosmos will be welcome watches.

I live in the beautiful Pacific NW of the USA and I like it just fine, even with the rain. If for some reason I was forced to live in another country, I'd probably try for Canada since they're generally nice, polite folk and their west coast is just as beautiful as it is here.

Seems like there's another nostalgia-driven fervor for this release, so some disappointment may await. It remains to be seen how good the story will prove, but I'm hoping for the best.

It's an okay series with some interesting concepts, although I thought Dark Matter was the better of the two. I'm still irked that they cancelled Dark Matter.

Recently I binge watched Cloak & Dagger, a superheroes series apparently targeting a teen audience. As these shows go, it seems pretty decently written, at least to me. They've spent some time developing the characters, giving them non-trivial motivations, and not going overboard on the superpowers. I've enjoyed it thus far so I plan to keep watching. Tonight though it's the first episode, second season of Outcast, a very creepy series based upon a graphic novel by Kirkman and Azaceta. Yeah, that's the same Robert Kirkman of The Walking Dead fame. I wasn't even sure they were going to renew it, but I'm glad they did.
