You can also try working with modder projects to write interesting interactions for their conversations. I suspect that few modders make good writers, although I have seen one or two. Perhaps another approach is to offer to provide a language conversion for a recent game release.

I'm expecting a game somewhat comparable to ToEE, except using RTwP (unfortunately). It may take time to build an audience, but I'm looking forward to playing it -- if only for the DnD-like ruleset implementation. Hopefully it'll be fun.

This is not an expansion, it's a DLC. Different things. You should be thankful it wasn't just horse armor. Err, hang on just a minute. You mean they'd add rideable mounts just to add DLC horse armor? I think I'd buy that.

Journey to the decaying remains of a once great inland empire, where their gods have died and the remnant city-states are fighting for the handful of ancient soul gems that are the only thing keeping their offspring from being cursed. The players must solve the mystery of how the gods died and bring hope to the people of this land, even if they must conquer it to succeed.

PoE sold 500,000 units, including backers, after 5 months. https://www.gamespot.com/articles/pillars-of-eternity-reaches-new-sales-milestone/1100-6431677/ PoE2 has been out 2 months, with 200,000 (+33K backers) units sold on Steam. So... I don't see a reason to be negative at this point.

What's next? A wand of wonder?

I have to suspect that, with the best S. American players being contracted to play for teams in Europe, other nation's players have adapted to their skill set. It isn't that they are less talented than before; just that other players have grown better.
