I am so glad they tuned down Devotions of the Faithful, honestly. It was too strong and has been since PoE1, swinging fights wildly and since it's per encounter now it was removing any tactics other than "cast at beginning of fight, always." I mean +20 accuracy? That's the equivalent of every one of your guys fighting SEVERAL levels above where they should be, while simultaneously making enemies fight several levels lower. Why would you ever not use it? It's still very useful at just +10/-10

Holy Radiance 1.1

I can't be certain, but I believe it's working similarly to Paladin dispositions on Faith and Conviction. There was a (small) effect from disposition but either it's not listed as a modifier when you mouse over the ability OR its somehow built into the power level percentage modifier. But there was definitely an effect because I saw the numbers decrease slightly when gaining an unfavoured disposition. Either way it needs fixing -
As a (fellow?) Haligonian this would be amazing. Oh no, I just know it from googling "sea shanties" on youtube last week after Deadfire left me wanting more. It's easily the best modern iteration on the format. You'll be happy to know that a whole bar full of drunk people can still regularly break out into this song in Halifax even though not a damn one of us knows all the words

I heard that Galawain buffs some of the bosses to make their fights tougher for you. I believe everyone else is covered in the opening post? Not sure if promises to Wael and Skaen/Woedica even count since Wael, at least, doesn't give you any stat bonus.Wael's boon gives you a +1 Intellect bonus in PoE1, it's just that you don't get it til the very VERY end of the game. And I think it was added in a later patch. Haven't carried that playthrough over to Deadfire yet though so not sure if there are any effects carried over, but I doubt it Edit: did I dream this? Lol I'm not able to find anything about it on the wiki I did one POE playthrough trying to get said boon, but nothing happened. You didn't dream it, I think it might just not have worked.Wow, talk about an anticlimactic few-dozen hours Yeah I think I was confusing Wael's with Skaen's Boon which you get at the very end. And now that I think of it, there was Deadfire reactivity- the island of Skaenites where you get the Effigy of Skaen. They just thanked for me for being all cool with Skaen and such. And then I attacked them anyways. Which was actually rather satisfying because the dude just chuckled and was NOT surprised -

I had Rymrgands Curse which sucked because my character was trying to max Might AND Resolve, ugh. I didn't even know where it came from or why it went away, but it did eventually go away (although I don't know when or why for that either!) Very underdeveloped if you ask me -
I've seen negative rep (minor) when characters see me opening a container with the steal icon, even without taking anything. I'm not quite sure what conditions it happens under though because as we all know we can pretty much help ourselves to anything and everything not nailed down easily enough but occasionally I've gotten lazy and looked into containers without stealthing first, maybe that's what triggers it? Again, it only seems to be specific containers that do this. Maybe it's related to some "value" mechanic of what the items in the container are worth, not sure. Either way this is likely your culprit

I've always been staunchly in the corner of unique items having set locations, but if they had an option to randomize uniques would anyone use it? On occasion? -

True. I found Arkemyr to be, in general, underwhelming as a character though. Kind-of-annoyed old man, not really particularly interesting or insightful, just grumpy. Voice acting was okay-ish. I'd like a more wise seeming archmage, I mean he didn't even seem threatening. If you attack him you can take him down in seconds. (Yes I tried it ) -
I have the four songs as a playlist on my iPhone. Can you believe they put the option to turn off shanties in the sound menu because they weren't sure if people would like them?? The only options they should have is "Shanties" and "More Shanties" Agreed. I'd like a posse following me around the Deadfire, even while I am on land singing those shanties. We've all been there-- shipping up and down the archipelago and your favorite shanty comes on... and you just wait a little while before landing on that island because you don't want it to stop...

Wael's Mysteries

I don't think it's a bad idea, I think there probably are good ways to implement it. I just think it's too much fun thinking of silly sub-ideas for it Mainly this. It's definitely a good idea, both for actual implementation and for an amazing "what-if"thread. That's just it isn't it? There's not really a lot they couldn't do. Realistically it'd have to not be ridiculously hard to code for the limited appeal for that small section of players that would use it.. I just see all those randomized pokemon nuzlocke streams and think, how many times have I wanted to randomize a game I knew really well? I think in Deadfire it'd have to be limited in scope so as to not be TOO overwhelming... but.... I feel like at least one WTF option would go over well -

Poor Boeromir... WELL! Based on how quickly things get derailed to gossip about someone who's not even here...! I think I can admit my OP is a garbage idea Which is why I'm a game player, not a designer. I still think the proper minds could come up with viable randomization options to keep the more adventurous of us, and streamers looking for ridiculous and entertaining challenges, going with PoE2 well past when they stop releasing content
