I'd say that my assumption was based on the fact that most non-avid ("casual") fans would not come to this place to discuss said game unless they were encountering software/hardware problems (and even then, doubtful). Furthermore, his propositions in the original post suggests more than a passing familiarity with the game, do they not? It's all for a given value of "too much", you see.

Yuriko wasn't all that hawt, so her death came as no great loss. Though at least she wasn't annoying like most of the other "heroes" of the film. Like Cyclops. Ugh.
