Volourn, you capitalist pig! And McDonalds food can be rather tasty, I admit. About once a month or less. Isn't it interesting, however, that (as far as I can recall), in the states, the people in the lower income strata within society is the ones most prone to suffering from overweight-related problems, while in quite many other countries, the situation is reversed? You don't see that many obese poor-folk in Africa or Asia, for example. Understandable, sure, but it's an interesting situation, nevertheless.

With the retarded level cap and difficulty in said game, I think maximizing hp isn't all that evil, especially in a game with only two characters.

Reminds me of when I wanted to breed a Scyther with Razor leaf, oh, four or five years ago? What a pain that was. Oh, that. Well, AW isn't very random at all. What I was saying is that I didn't like Fire Emblem because it felt and played a lot like AW, with a few added elements (such as the whole RPG aspect).

I'm just too lazy to follow basically any game at this point, but a 3D HoMM is, well... not HoMM. That's not to say it won't be good though. Time will tell, I guess. It often does.

Well, I was aiming for a pikachu, but stuff happened. You know how it is. And I'd say that how you aquire your units and so on is different, but the rest isn't. In the context of NWN, wheter you play the OC or Volourn's scary evil NWN mod the core game remains the same, even if you encounter different monsters and so on. in the context of AW vs Emblem, the gameplay is extremely similar between the two, even if the units and strategies are not.

Volourn, I find what you're doing now to be somewhat... off. No idea why, but I feel like it's somehow wrong to have you make mods. You are destined for greater things, mark my words! EDIT: You can mark my woods too if you want to, but "words" was what I was aiming for. Grammar nazi signing off.

It's not "pure luck". The tools you have to work with are somewhat randomized, though. Oh, and I never really liked Fire emblem that much. The one I played for the BGA felt like Advance Wars with a dash of RP, and I farkin' loathed Advance wars, so... I still completed it and all that, but it wouldn't rank up there with my favourite games of all time, that's for sure.

HoMM2 > all. The visual side to that game is sheer heaven.

Darque's no lady. Darque = spammer. How many times must I say this before it finally sinks in? And I never got farther than the... hrm, apocalypse encounter? Some bug would switch out my main character for Boomer as squad leader, which sucked.

Not to say that I dislike Japan or don't enjoy quite a lot of things from said country (manga, anime, games, etc)- but some parts of the culture are, hrm, not that great. But then again, naked sushi for teh win!

OMG PALLY. Been a while. For the record, let us make one thing clear: Bioware *sucks* at making deep stories. Bioware *sucks* when it comes to good/evil in their games. TSL's story was subtle, witty, and also quite complicated, in a good way. KotOR1, on the other hand, had a story so blatantly simple and obvious it was ridiculous. Omg j00 R Revan!!1!
