  1. @Craftsman: What do you mean? Super-powared space stations +7.5, lesbians or cathars? Or perhaps you meanm that lesbian cathar deathstars in general should be avoided?
  2. It doesn't have to be either/or, ya know. KOTOR2 might not be the most innovative of sequels, but at least it's somewhat of a sequel. More so than Fallout2, for example. Or you could just think of it as a really big expansion pack.
  3. Bah- they should change this game into KOTOR: Extreme Beach Volleyball, and give you a vast selection of undies and skimpy swimsuits. Fan service, mate- that's what keeps the world spinning.
  4. Well, sure. Ajunta Pall did whine a lot about the mistakes in his youth, etc etc. Of course, you had the option to go "OMG u r not a true sith!!!" due to his weakness afterwards. Still, it's pretty clear that he considered the dark side to be a mistake on his part, so the answer is yes.
  5. Okay, I stand corrected, then. Fair play is for fools. Really. Having 40 AC total at the fourth planet is fun.
  6. The lamest (or at least a VERY lame) thing that comes to mind was that sith party on Taris. Talk about a ridiculously cheesy anti-climax, dude. Oh, and that the worlds in general felt very... artificial. Constrained, somehow. Though that hasn't stopped me from completing the game like ten times already. <_<
  7. Bah. Munchkinism > all. True joy comes from beating your enemies with cheesy and underhanded tactics, visc. Honor is for fools.
  8. We *need* a thumbs up smilie.
  9. Does it really matter? There were some visuals that irked me in KOTOR, but I can't ever say that the hilts mattered much. They're just hilts, after all. Now, a white lightsaber, that would be kewl. Actually, I've seen how a white one (or a silver one, really) would look, i.e pretty damn good. There was this graphic bug that made Bastila's dual saber white when viewed from a distance on my comp, and it was teh stylish.
  10. I don't think the force powers are inherently dark or light, but those that cater to more destructive purposes are rarely used by Jedi for obvious purposes. I mean, a jedi probably could use force lightning, but due to him being a jedi, he naturally wouldn't.
  11. I was under the impression that getting your saber was to be considered something "special" in this game, so it would make sense to start without one. Besides, if you find your own saber later in-game, the prospect of actually starting out with one seems to be pretty slim. I know KOTOR was a bit of a munchfest from time to time, but contrary to common belief most Jedis do not walk around with dozen spares "just in case". If you loose your saber, you loose your saber. Of course, you could always l00t some sabers from the corpses of your enemies later on, as well.
  12. Doubleblade. Munchkin style.
  13. Bah, I say. I'm about as Light Side as Darque is a spammer, but I don't think this to be a bad turn of events. No annoying council + lots of Sith to hack to pieces is always fun.
  14. Hmm, Muad'Dib raises a valid point, IMO. Either, setting things before ROTJ or long after would be preferrable. Still, I would appreciate some sort of story involving perhaps an out of the ordinary force adept with hubris, or something similar. Sith/Jedi battles are fun, but some sort of third party would only serve to make things interesting, IMO.
  15. Darque. I'd like to slap her silly for being such a spammer. Or propose. Nah. I think I'll go for the slapping. Why, Darque, why? I am the only one deserving the #1 postcount rank. I. Not you. As for sating my more basic caveman streak... I'd like to meet Karzak and beat some sense into the halfwit. Oh, and perhaps forcibly install a spellchecker for Voldemort (don't worry, I still love you. Just not your spelling.)
  16. I'd want to be "some guy".
  17. It's all about the RP'ing, dude. While it's too bad that didn't make it into the game, I experienced something similar on my third (or was it fourth?) playthrough. My female jedi had been sinking more and more towards the Dark Side as time progressed. When she found out that she was Revan, it got even worse. One thing led to another, and not before long, she, Bastila and Jolee (Our dear Cath was already ten feet under) were standing on top of the temple summit. Well, it got all rowdy-dowdy with Bastila wanting Revan to join her, and my char agreed. But she couldn't strike down Jolee. She just couldn't, considering the many talks they had shared, etc etc etc. So eventually she rejected the Dark Side. The ending kinda spoiled things, but it still felt better than the usual, flat "goody shoes" character people are so fond of playing- it felt like I RP'ed something with more depth that time, so to speak. Gray endings roolz. More of them, I say.
  18. There's really only three NPC's I want to see in KOTOR2: 1: The Intelligent Ewok. Or better yet, an Ewok genius. An Ewok Sith might be pushing it, though. 2: A female Twi'lek Jedi. They are just teh bomb. 3: Newc, the Iridorian mercenary.
  19. Agreed. But I don't think the Selkath would be able to give you control of all Bacta shipments even if they wanted to.
  20. The X-box is a toilet with gamepads. PC and GC all the way.
  21. Whatever. As long as I can force-fry Gizka, I don't care either way.
  22. ...look up Volourn's dress lately???... ...WHO LUVS YA, BABY!!... Now *that* is dirty. In more ways than one, I'd wager.
  23. Sargy works in a hospital. Probably as a patient. That should explain things.
