  1. Did the first Marathon ever come out for the PC?
  2. That was a brain fart right there.
  3. "errr..., Gabs says hi." ____ Schlock!
  4. I think the point was just to make the Keanu joke.
  5. http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/v...per-Paper-Mario Didn't really know where to put this in C&C, so I just went ahead and put it somewhere everyone would see. Highlights: "Retarded mammoth in a Nine Inch Nails T-Shirt" Super Paper Mario is set in a bizarre Keanu Reeves themed universe where everybody is a cardboard cut-out.
  6. While float32 made the lighting a bit better, it really didn't improve my frame rates at all.
  7. I find that RAM is key for this game, in terms of getting good performance. I play it at 1280x960, with every bell and whistle on, and it runs brilliantly. For reference: 3.0Ghz, 2Gigs, 7600GT
  8. And here I was, thinking the discussion was about you not having a leg to stand on regarding this issue.
  9. Texxt isn't exactly the biggest eater of storage space. In PST it was more a question of fitting the narrative of the game and development time. Torment would be impossible to make with a total blank slate main character. At best, they could've given a gender option (scarred hawt chick FTW!), but even then that would increase the development time immensely. And anyway, most of the things that made PST great were dependent on having a defined, written character.
  10. I don't like the use of Free Religion this early, either. Even if you're playing a peaceful game(and we're not), Free Religion should be the last religious civic we use, and only after we put out as many GPs as we can with the help of Pacifism.
  11. Yay for Dodger the alliterative Dev!

  18. Matt's powers are about to get a whole lot more powerful. And I don't get Nikki at all.
  19. And suddenly I have this strange urge to get Team Fortress 2.
  20. Half Life 2 bored me to tears.
  21. Is Steve up next? Also, if you want to join in Kissamies, go ahead.
  22. Stevie Wonder - Pastime Paradise
  23. Actually, I have to disagree there. All they needed to do to market SS2 was talk about how the player is alone in a huge spaceship against zombies, with a hawt, mad and evil robot woman out to get him, and throw a bunch of Alien references in. Add the shooter 2.0 buzzword Levine was so fond of using for Bioshock, and we'd have a marketing winner. No, the engine isn't easily configurable, plus I think Irrational has already stated they wouldn't release an editor.
