  1. Clearly, I haven't been paying attention. This trip is sounding better and better! Take me with you Ros! I promise I'll be nice.
  2. Those are proper character portraits.
  3. I've playing BTS One City Challenge on Prince level, on a small pangaea map . Good fun, although I'm struggling with the victory conditions. The last game, when I was nearing the end, my only shot at winning was going nuclear, however I didn't have uranium within my borders. At first I was trying for a diplo win, but Genghis got too big, and even with everyone voting against him, I failed to win.
  4. How can Automatic For The People be 15 years old? It came out, like, yesterday! Radiohead - I Might Be Wrong
  5. Well, go for it!
  6. No change...
  7. Why don't you guys just disable the AI?
  8. Not anymore. Good luck, and have fun. I had no idea Walsingham was this paranoid.
  9. Let's make a show about people with supernatural powers, but do it with a scientific basis! Because it makes sense!
  10. That night is a long time coming.
  11. Schmuck. That's about as dumb a video as they come.
  12. It looks exactly the same. All the images are still reduced to a 800x600 complaint size.
  13. What a bunch of crybabies. Pronouncing a company dead, minutes after a buyout.
  14. http://forums.bioware.com/forums/viewtopic...rum=22&sp=0 There's already a huge sh!tstorm over at Bio's forums over this stuff. Ha Ha!
  15. Prepare for Mass Effect 2023!
  16. but doesn't Bio make the same game over and over again?
  17. Well, yes, but my point is that this seems to be a pointless move for the company. They do fine on their own in terms of production, financing and sales. Their games are becoming repetitive, but of course, that's beside the point when it doesn't affect sales I can however see the point for Muzyka and Zeschuk:
  18. I don't care half as much for Bioware's games as I did a few years ago, so I'm not really worried about whatever happens to them. This won't make their games any better, though.
  19. I didn't know that the dike worked on coastal tiles as well. Live and learn. That does make the coastal cities much more attractive.
  20. Only start them when you're sure to win. Jump in, Tale!
  21. Thanks!
  22. Walsingham, I think but he hasn't said anything on this thread yet. Oerwinde and Tale said they'd play too.
  23. Not really. A fixed percentage leaves no one happy. Of course, if there's no other option, we just have to make do. Anyway, the problem for me isn't the percentage of the screen at which the image is reduced, but rather that the images are reduced way too much. Like in the following example, both images are reduced much more than what I needed to fit my screen. In fact, the lower one, at 760x600 didn't even need to be reduced. Edit: I reduced my resolution to 800x600, and now I understood that the board always reduces the images to whatever size fits an 800x600 screen. If that's the only way it can work, then I guess what I'm asking isn't feasible at all.
  24. I was thinking that what would work nicely would be to resize the images that are larger than the browser window to fit its size more or less exactly. So, for example, someone with an 800x600 desktop would have the images with around a 600 pixel width minus the forum sidebar. In my case, I have my desktop at 1280x960 so the images would show at 960 minus the forum sidebar.
  25. I don't think we need more than three coastal cities in the area around our capital to churn out the necessary naval units. With your general views on city placement contrasting with mine, we could turn this into a thread war. Left to myself, I would never ever place the gems city on that coastal site. Regarding the economy, if we start putting the financial trait to good use, the city placement shouldn't be much of a problem.
