My brother got the preorder box for CoV and they sent him two beta codes, so I've been using one of them and so far my thoughts are: A) There doesn't seem to be very much new stuff considering its sposed to be a whole new game. Seems more like a glorified expansion. B) Its not as fun as City of Heroes.

I didn't even know they sold 500 GB hard drives. When I got my PC 2 years ago the biggest I could get was a 160. Which I should have gotten two of instead of the two 80GB ones I got.

I chose Fly because it made more sense for my character. I had a scrapper I was going the SS/Jump route, but then they changed some of my powers so I didn't like the character anymore. I'm kinda wierd with my characters. I come up with a theme, background, etc. and only choose powers that make sense with the theme and background I came up with, yet I don't actually roleplay in game. Except for my robot characters. I tend to roleplay them.

I noticed. It's better than walking though.

I finally got a character up to level 14 and am now having a blast with Fly. Took me way too long to do that.

Someone should start an Obsidian supergroup. Decide which server to play on and start new characters. Well, obviously we can't start the group until one of us is level 10, but that doesn't take *too* long

Its not a Kotor3 thread thats why. This is about a Kotor style game set in the original trilogy.

The email I got said it was the character. From the email: "If your game account is inactive for over 90 days and you reactivate your account you will need to log back in to any characters affected by this policy to move them out of unreserved name status." I had like 14 characters or so, but only 2 or 3 I really cared about their names. Black Prophet was the main one. With City of Villains coming, that name would be gone real fast. And I was never so hardcore into it that I got a character over level 13. I'd get to level 11 or so, and thats about where it took around 2-3 days of playing to gain a level when it first came out, so I would start a new character, get him to level 11, start a new one, etc. Now its a lot easier to gain a level once you get around that level. You can gain one around every 3 hours of play or so, which pretty much amounts to getting a good group and doing some missions that are 1 or two levels above you. And for those curious, the character I play most is White Pulsar on Guardian. Level 13 Energy Blaster.

If I have to point the controller at the screen or the console, then no I don't like it. The way I have my TV set up in my room, the controller more often than not is pointed away from the screen and console. My room is shaped in a way that this is the only possible setup for my TV, so if I have to point it at the screen, I'm not buying the console.

My Brother was raving about how it was an awesome movie, and he's never seen the show. I tried to get him to watch it but I couldn't get him to sit down and do so. He's more willing to do so now. He refers to Book and Wash and "The old guy" and "Steve the Pirate"(Alan Tudyk's character in Dodgeball). Which made me really want to get him to watch the show so he understands them better.

Yeah the whole "Restart now" or "Remind me again in 10 minutes" thing is garbage. They need a "Don't bother me again" option.

Devin at CHUD.com did an editorial that touched on that. He suggested that the crazy hardcore fans who were buying tickets to pass out to people who were undecided on which film to see and handing out fliers on the street and such probably scared some people away from the film because they didn't want to be associated with those people.
