  1. the strong japanese developer support and the Blu-ray are the major ones for me. I'm not just a gamer, I'm a movie buff, so the whole HD movie thing is one of my big things.
  2. http://ps3.ign.com/articles/668/668446p1.html IGN's top 10 reasons to wait for the PS3.
  3. Yeah, if it actually happened and he's not just exaggerating, and it happens to a lot of people, dang, that could cost MS some serious cash, having to replace faulty systems AND the games they ruin.
  4. My brother claims his friend got one and it overheated so badly it melted his disc.
  5. I remembered what it was called and was able to find one version of it: http://flash.sunvv.com/a/3224.html theres a longer version, trying to find that now. Ok, found it. http://www.flashwo.com/homepage/13/200462210074.html
  6. A couple years back when I was in school, we came across a flash animation that had like every giant robot in the history of animation. There were two different versions, but they both used the same music and had generally the same thing to them. I'd ideally like to find both, but I'd be happy with one. Its done all chibi style with flashing colors and such and crazy japanese rock music, but its just cool because it has so many big robots. If anyone else has seen this and can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.
  7. I wanted to play a malkavian my first time through, but the character design for it was so horrid that I didn't want to go anywhere near it. And the Ventrue looked too much like a thug so I didn't bother with that either, I pretty much stuck with Tremere or Toreador.

I think its called Fables. Not Neil Gaiman. I've wanted to buy the trades but I always end up finding something I want more, like a new Lucifer or something by Warren Ellis.
  9. All the leaders are pretty much like their real-life counterparts. Isabella wasn't exactly known for her religious tolerance, nor Tokugawa for his open and friendly relations with outher countries. " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Tokugawa actually was pretty open. It was his successors who weren't.
  10. Lately its been either Ten Thousand Fists by Disturbed, or Sleep by Story of the Year
  11. The two I hate the most are Tokugawa and Isabella. Isabella because I can never have decent relations with her due to me not converting to Buddhism(She has Buddhism EVERY time) and Tokugawa is just a ****. Cyrus is always one of the big ones, and he tends to be easy to get along with, which is nice. I even managed to get a permanent alliance with him once.
  12. I'd buy it. I got both the others, and loved them both. The first time I went through KotOR2 I didn't sleep. I couldn't stop playing it. Was up 35 hours until it was finished. Secondary playthroughs I was luckily not so fanatic about it.
  13. I just bought the last 3 parts of Robocop: Prime Directives. I believe they were a Sci-Fi original miniseries, not sure. Anyway, other than the B-movie production values, its not bad at all.

I was never a big DC fan, though I liked all of the DC splinter brands. Wildstorm, Vertigo, etc. But the main line of DC heroes never really interested me like the Marvel stuff. X-Men and Spider-Man just had a lot more appeal.
  15. But then that wouldn't be a true skill if just anyone can do what you do. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think you're confusing skill and talent. Talent is natural, Skill is aquired.
  16. I just hate having to get them to repeat themselves over and over because I have no idea what they're saying.
  17. One thing that bothers me is that one of the departments that every company seems to outsource is Customer Support. Who's brilliant idea was it to give the job of helping english speaking people with the problems with their purchases/services to people who can barely speak english?
  18. They should just pick up Global Frequency.

Dreamwave was probably the hottest up and coming comic publisher. They had the Transformers license and it was selling like mad. They also managed to get the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Capcom licenses, which were selling pretty well as well. It looked like nothing could go wrong, then out of nowhere, they announced they were bankrupt and going out of business. Their employees found out when they made the press release. Turned out that Pat Lee, the guy running the company, had signed dreamwave up to do all sorts of free work, signed deals for licenses that didn't make any sense and such, just because he was a fanboy and wanted to be able to work on the comics. Then he found out that they had no money to pay anyone, so he went and did some high profile projects that made a big name for himself, got himself a really good job at Marvel, then announced the company's bankruptcy. So most of the employees were screwed out of like 4 months or more in pay. Bryan Hitch is really good, but he's really slow. He's the reason The Ultimates is bi-monthly
  20. Well, enough time has passed that Lois has moved on and now has like a 2 year old kid. I heard it takes place something like 10 years after superman 2.

Bump So what are people's thoughts on the whole Dreamwave fiasco a while back?
  22. The teaser did its job. It left me wanting more. I still think they should have just rebooted the series. Everyone is used to post crisis superman now, so why make a sequel to the pre-crisis movies? Especially when its sposed to take place years later, and they have some guy in his early 20s playing supes. Wouldn't everyone be like "Wow Clark, for a 40 year old, you don't look a day over 25!"
