Well, one major one I encountered was that several quests became unfinishable because everything in my haven turned into a couch. Computer, chairs, table, lamps, etc. Other than that mostly horrible graphics glitches like the screen going all wavy and crazy colored around the beach and stuff like that. A lot of the crazy buggy games people complain about, I don't even notice the bugs, this one I did. I didn't really notice any of the bugs in ToEE.

They didn't quite get it right. It was the buggiest game I've ever played. Even after the patch. It was also too combat heavy. I really don't understand why all the games based on the WoD are so combat heavy, when in the manual they tell you the game isn't about combat.

I'm big into trades too. Its much more satisfying to be able to sit down and read one for an hour, rather than the 10 minutes or less it takes to read a single issue. You get whole storylines that way too.

As a cameo appearance he was cool, but I just can't see how a series would be good. He'd have to spend every episode in the water to be able to use his powers, and that would get boring. If they want to do a smallville spinoff, use that Flash kid.

The good thing about cats is that while kittens are super cute, unlike dogs, they don't get big enough to not be cute anymore. Cats rule.

Maybe a computer science teacher at Met U.

I thought it was interesting that they got Zod to play the voice of Jor-El.

Isn't that just in the animated series? Its the best origin for him, but I'm pretty sure they made it up for the animated series. The Batman and Superman animated series' added a crapload to the comic continuity. Without the Batman animated series we wouldn't have Harley Quinn or Nightwing, and I'm pretty sure the Tim Drake Robin came about because they made **** Grayson into Nightwing. Okie doke... just looked it up. Brainiac wasn't a robot until later. He was a crazy alien scientist named Vril Drox who inhabited the body of Milton Fine. Milton Fine was killed and Vril Drox's conciousness was transported to a robot body. At least thats the post crisis version.

From what little I know about the lanterns, Kyle was my favorite just based on the fact that being a graphic artist, and the power of the ring being pretty much limited by your imagination(and its stored energy, I know), he could do a lot more with the same power that the others could do. Like instead of creating a big green fist and hitting a guy with it, he could create a big green dragon to face off with him.
-
I haven't read much Green Lantern, but isn't Kyle pretty much a team all by himself?

The picture is mooooooving

I'll go wherever Suikoden goes. 7 player split-screen *shudders* 360 definitely has the advantage for multiplayer with the whole online thing.

This is from my home town. The major landmark. Its a glacier.

Its a hardcover, With a nifty slipcase., and DC lists it at 75 bucks US. Apparently they're planning a Sandman one too. Also, in my searching for interior shots, I found out that Time magazine voted Watchmen as one of the 100 best novels of the last 80 years.
-
Then you will be happy to learn a collectors edition of Watchmen just came out with the colors completely remastered <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dude... Seriously? I bought it anyway despite the horrible 80s coloring with all the bright pinks and oranges and clashing blues and such and loved it, but with decent coloring it would be even more of a masterpiece. Edit: Just looked it up, but can't find any shots of the interior of the damn thing. I've seen the cover before, its the same as the paperback version, I want to see what the remastered art looks like.

Well apparently at e3 or whatever, they said that the controller design for the ps3 wasn't the final one, so hopefully they'll change it.

PS3 is the one I'm saving for. Mostly for the Blu-ray player. This gen is looking a LOT better for the Xbox than last gen RPG wise so I might pick one up at some point. It just wasn't worth it for me to get an Xbox this gen because all the games I was interested in were on PS2 or PC so there was no point in getting one. I also don't care about multiplayer, so that removes the major selling point of the 360 for me. Points: PS3: Blu-Ray, slightly more powerful than the 360, likely more japanese developer support, meaning more JRPGs, which is what I buy a console for. 360: Better japanese developer support than the Xbox. Revolution: Backwards compatible with all nintendo systems. Letting me play the awesome SNES JRPG library, as well as being able to snag the 3 or 4 games for the Gamecube I wanted. Nicest looking of all the new consoles So the PS3 has 3 points, the Revolution has 2, and the 360 has one. This is prior to the release of any of them, so I'll have to wait and see what happens before making a real decision.

I don't play online very often, so my finest moments are pretty mundane. So far my finest moment is making it to level 14 in City of Heroes. Thats where you get your travel power, so now I can fly.

Neat. Personally I think they should have done a Batman Begins style reboot of the series rather than disregarding Superman 3 and 4 and starting there. The 70s superman movies were good and all, but new school superman is cooler than old school superman, what with Lex Luthor being a billionaire CEO criminal mastermind instead of a wacky evil genius. I was surprised they didn't give him his purple jumpsuit in the 70s movies.

The best thing about Sandman was that it lead to the Lucifer series, which is my favorite comic of all time. Sandman was a tad too random for me, though it was still good enough to buy. As for liking Ultimate X-Men. Don't be embarassed. Its my favorite superhero comic. Most people say the Ultimates is the best of the Ultimate line, but I disagree. Though killing Beast was a big no no in my book. Then again maybe he's back, I'm like almost a year behind on that one I think. I need a decent job so I can afford comics AND DVDs. I make enough to afford one or the other, and unfortunately the DVDs win.

First off; I agree. Some characters(like E) he did wondrously, but the rest just look off. Only thing I didn't like in New X-men, as Morrinson's work was astounding. Secondly; thanks for hearing my plea. :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Frank Quitely makes everyone looks bloated. They're all puffy with puckered lips and everyone has the same face. Jean Grey just looks like professor X with lipstick and red hair. I didn't read New X-Men solely because I didn't want to look at that art. I'm bad like that. I'll miss out on really good comics simply because I can't stand the art. Thats why I haven't read Sin City. Oh, and no prob.
-
Why? WHY KAFTAN WHY!? :D My favourite manga that I have read is MPD Psycho. My favourite western comic is The Sandman. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Some manga influenced stuff is good, the whole amalgamation of western and eastern styles like some of Joe Madureira's stuff is good. I think the major problem with Manga style, and it was the same problem western comics had for a long time too, is that it all generally looks the same. Yes there are exceptions, but for the most part it all looks the same. Western comics had that problem too until a few years ago, then they started getting a whole shwack of different artists with their own styles. Oh, and Frank Quitely should not be allowed near a pencil again.

I'd prefer all my stuff to be black, but I can live with mismatched stuff. I got 50 bucks off my DVD player because they had an open box one that was silver. 50 bucks was worth my DVD player not matching. I just bought 2 DVDs to go with it... Ahh, the beginning of an addiction. Started with Swordfish, now I have nearly 300 DVDs.
