I just watched the episode from last week, the one where Hiro is back in time again. It was really bittersweet, on one hand you had Charlie, Eden and all the things that made Heroes awesome during season 1(and even Kate from Angel), but on the other hand there was the horrible "now we can change the past!" plot disaster, pointless Noah stuff, stretching everything out to no end(you can save Charlie again!) and to top it all off, Mohinder. It pretty much showed how much potential season 1 had and how far we've gone from that.
  2. More like send dog to Overwhelm him while you deal with the rest of the posse and then get him with everyone at once. That damn Curse of Mortality is frickin annoying, though.
  3. It has the name one the bottom left corner. Sheesh.
  4. You and your logic, I'm just going with my original theory of people liking to complain. Sometimes they latch on the smallest, most obscure "problems" and defend their position to grave if they must. If I really wanted to complain, I'd complain about the horrible animations or the somewhat weird distribution of Skills and Talents...
  5. Makes me think of the Seanchan, but you wouldn't know anything of that. So yeah, I'm helping elves and killing werewolves. Without Cone of Cold I would have never made it that far, too bad Morrigan starts with a ton of really crappy spells.
  6. I think I read that from somewhere as well, it mostly sounds like slurring, though. I'd rather have a fake French accent like in System Shock 2 or just grab a French person from Montreal and have them do it.
  7. the helmets still look ridiculous.
  8. The English speaking people are pretty good, but what the hell is up with the Orlais accent? I don't have a clue what they were trying there, it's barely more understandable than the Werewolves...
  9. I take it you've finished it then?
  10. I never said nor implied thats what I wanted. You are going from one extreem to the other. I want a happy middle ground. Use a damn heal pot on your own if you are badly hurt I shouldnt have to tell you too for gods sake! I wasn't referring to you, it was a general comment. My point was that the tactics system is there to help you, use those three slots you get at the beginning as efficiently as possible and manage other stuff manually. It's also about resource management, which abilities do you really want them to use vs. what you can trigger yourself when needed. How many games give you all options at the very beginning? You play the game and learn to use the tactics system as you play and it gets more advanced over time. There are things to complain about in DA, but the tactics system is not one of them or at least it's at the very bottom.
  11. It's supposed to be isometric and you can still rotate it by holding the right mouse button, no?
  12. What's the deal with my character and half of my companions folding their arms all the time during dialog? It's pretty hilarious.
  13. Well, he is a goddamn anthropomorphic bird, he deserves to be as ugly as the graphics made him.
  14. I had a whole bunch of them by then. Now (at level 12) I'm just tossing them left and right, it's multiple enchantment slots or bust.
  15. Yeah, it's not a simulation where you set the tactics and watch it play out, it's there to compliment you, not replace you completely.
  16. The "enchantable" items have "slots" under their description when you mouse over them. It's pretty obvious when you see it. If you don't have any yet, you either suck or are at the beginning of the game.
  17. It's really nice when the AI does something that you forgot about, I certainly don't have the time to keep an eye on all of my characters every second. It's like a contingency, so that they'll do something you'd want them to do in case you forget.
  18. It's probably really easy to mod it in, not particularly whine-worthy.
  19. They make furry fanart of him on deviantart, you'll have to take their opinions with a grain of salt.
  20. He's ugly.
  21. Well, he is a giant douchebag...
  22. No amount of Anti Aliasing or Anisotropic Filtering can fix that.
  23. So this is just a thinly veiled excuse to show off your awesome resolution?
