Well they said they want to take the show in a different direction. A scene by scene remake wouldn't really be all that great, now would it?
  2. I wasn't being sarcastic...
  3. I was replying to Darth InSidious, Yahtzee can take all the breaks he wants.
  4. That is actually a very good argument. I like how you think outside the box.
  5. I'll take a funny stick figure cartoon over a boring travel diary any day of the week.
  6. Three is company, but four is a crowd. Nobody likes a crowd.

They're no omnipotent, they need to follow the plan for the whole thing to work.

  13. It's the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact all over again Also, Boingboing is a respectable blog. It's like some of you people lack common internet knowledge.

The pilot was pretty good and actually set everything up nicely unlike a number of other pilots. I didn't expect to like Juliet's character, but she's really good and most others are at least likable, except for the TV douche of course. I totally did not expect Alan Tudyk, . Morena Baccarin is still cute as a button, even if short hair doesn't really fit her. I can totally see her pulling off the evil Diana thing. They pretty much jumped over their biggest hurdle by putting the Visitors reveal and the rebellion thing in the first episode instead of dragging it out. The TV interview intercut with the rebellion meeting was really well done. Looking forward to more.
  18. Washington DC!? Not a video game.
  19. Interesting, looking forward to creating mad scripts
  20. That is a really interesting idea, I like having everything customizable down to the specifics. I always had to do everything in NWN2 myself(or just tell everyone to charge...) because the default scripts are pretty much "waste all spells randomly on enemy" and "waste all spells randomly on party". It's kind of weird that you have to spend presumably precious skill points to get more "slots" or is there another way to get more?
  21. ? I mean the custom tactics thing. You can see it in the Giant Bomb video.
  22. Hm I kind of like those graphics, cute and weird at the same time. Might have to look it up. ...and I'm playing Borderlands. I keep saying I'm going to play more Torchlight too, but so far Borderlands has me by the nose and won't let go.. I made a thread about it some time ago, it has a link to the demo.
  23. The Giant Bomb video review is up if anyone cares. Looks like they really liked it. The programmable script system looks really cool, does it actually work as advertised?
