Well, I thought it would be all "dark, gritty and mature" because of the whole zomg elf slavery /zomg thing, but so far it's been kinda lame and predictable. I guess I'll play a dwarf next. As for overly foreshadowing and being predictable nothing, writing wise, is diferent at Bioware on that level since NWN1. So you're saying that NWN1 was good? Paging Volo...

I came here for a boring news story, but stayed for the lulz. Keep it up people!

Trying to define stuff won't really go anywhere, especially on this board Let's just say that you will have to make decisions that are not clear cut and will have possibly unforeseen consequences.

Maybe studios will work on shorter RPG's to help offset the development time? I'd be happy with a few 25 hour games to fill the gaps between Dragon Age and the Witcher type epics. It would also help if they also made them good. Most budget stuff is like a square wheel: all the good stuff is balanced out by by something horrible.

I'm more surprised at the production values, I haven't seen a single random encounter use the same map and most of them are more than just a bunch of "bandits" or whatnot. It's kind of sad how much better it is in DA than in ME, which literally had like three different level designs for all the side-quests. A BIS game is a BIS game, an Obs game is an Obs game. But it's (mostly) the same people under a different name...
