  1. Bad Company is just the red-headed console stepchild of the real Battlefield games. It's a spinoff, what did you expect? Battlefield 3 or bust! Also, Battlefield is more team-based than MW and if there's one thing console people hate more than good games, it's each other.
  2. Everyone loves Real Life.
  3. Why you hatin' on Enya, bro?
  4. I love how none of you managed to link any trailers. What is this, the 90s?
  5. Nexus: The Jupiter Incident, after Gratuitous Space Battles, I got the urge to play some awesome space RTSs. Maybe I'll finish it this time. Taking a break from Dragon Age, too much Orzammar.
  6. The theme was pretty good IMO. The DD one was good as well.
  7. You don't become a master of internets overnight, after all.
  8. Without spoilers, to boot.
  9. Borderlands end credits theme: DJ Champion - No Heaven
  10. The "overarching" story is pretty much pants-on-head crazy and the individual game stories are self-contained AFAIK, so it depends on whether you care about the crazy future story. See the ZP review for a short overview.
  11. Why not just use a handy internet guide? This was pretty much the first thing anyone did when the Orange Box came out.
  12. The sum of all fears? Also, uncanny valley CGI scenes should be in Matrix-like movies. For instance, the protagonist hallucinates and the real/CGI scenes are used to tell apart when he's seeing things and when not. Argh! Repressed memories. Coming back. Do not want!
  13. Yeah that's back when they still tried, with real actors and stuff Can't wait till they start making bad movies out of Tom Clancy's crap.
  14. The very one. If you really hate Armageddon, you can check out the scathing reviews by Nostalgia Chick.
  15. It was a fun movie at a time when there were still fun movies, a better time.
  16. The president is just the "face" of EU. I don't get what the big deal is. He has less power than the president in most parliamentary countries, like Finland.
  17. Played some of it at a friend's place. The first mission felt like an elaborate ad for the US Army, the second mission was like something out of James Bond. The airport thing didn't really do anything for me and it was pretty ridiculous to boot. The Brazil level was pretty interesting and then it went all Tom Clancy/World In Conflict on my and I stopped. The game design is good and having all the billion different weapons was fun, but it is pretty pants-on-head crazy. Feels like the military got a bunch of money to make the bestest ad ever and gave it all to Infinity Ward. EDIT: The levels feel like Infinity Ward got a thousand developers and had each of them do the coolest thing they could think of, picked the best ~20 and tied them together with a "story". Was it really necessary to put ice climbing in the game? WTF?
  18. Haters gonna hate etc.
  19. Did you check out the link I posted above? They do a pretty good job explaining what is good at which price point and why, plus they have detailed reviews of all the cards, should you be interested.
