  1. You could at least first see if the source has been cited before blindly bashing wikipedia...
  2. Alanis Morissette's version of Black Eyed Peas' The original.
  3. Competitive-ness implies competition, which is distinctly lacking in single player games. You could say that the AI is the competition, but not really.
  4. Hello, go take a look all those dysfunctional people and horrible drug addicts in Holland. It's a disaster, oh wait...
  5. Better by having as much freedom as possible and not banning things arbitrarily.
  6. Yes, modern countries should be held to the same standards as Islamic ones. You'd think we would try to be better.
  7. The Netherlands? I don't remember drug addicts on the streets/in bars/wherever.
  8. Late to the party much? SMH
  9. As an atheist, this is a very stupid move. They have some pretty fun posters as well:
  10. ...not yet.
  11. There are also better 360 games.
  12. With things going as they are, we'll probably also get at least two apocalypses, a new Dalai Lama and possibly a Moon base before Diablo III
  13. You can make any story interesting with good writing and presentation, just as you can make the awesomest story a boring trudge if you present it badly. Basically if you are making the story for a video game, you'll have to compensate for that, just as you can't adapt books straight into movies. Otherwise you'll get a convoluted mess(exhibit A: Modern Warfare 2).
  14. Now? when was that not the case?
  15. Reminds me of the Futurama Xmas episode
  16. Some stories work in books, others in other mediums, shock and awe.
  17. Well some other people said that Impulse causes cancer, I'm staying away from that. They are different, but "invasiveness" is not really one of the differences.
  18. There's about ~40 games that work like that with Steam as well. How is Steam any harder to remove than Impulse? Also, you do realize that you can use both, right? This isn't a all or nothing deal.
  19. And you don't get trampled to death by millions of crazy people!
  20. How about extra money/free advertisement for only being on the most popular one? Business is business, if it doesn't work out, I guess the joke's on them.
  21. Why would you expect them to? Steam, Impulse, D2D, GOG, Greenhouse Games, Gamer's Gate, etc. are all distinct competing services, there's no reason why everything should be available on all.
  22. Also, Israel, communism and American TV shows.
