  1. I totally agree about the environment, the whole Cathedral like architecture of the ship and awesome baroque space suit were awesome. The biggest problem IMO was that the game dragged on for way too long, once you start getting tougher reskinned versions of old enemies instead on new ones, you know your game is too long.
  2. It will do him no good going in expecting too much. The game is in no way bad, it's just too long and you shouldn't really expect some epic horror experience. Just another fun romp in space with some neat features like cutting limbs off and hopping around in zero-g.
  3. I say we nuke them and let god sort them out.
  4. Does anything? The scary-ness is pretty limited in Dead Space, just a bunch of jump scares, monster closets and a super annoying dude who doesn't die. Nothing like System Shock, Call of Cthulhu, Penumbra...
  5. The whole Event Horizon ghost thing was pretty unnecessary IMO, whispers are always welcome, though.
  6. Here's an article about the "Hidden messages", if you really care. The game had some interesting ideas, but all in all it was just a slightly improved Resident Evil in space.
  7. I guess I'm more of a "the end doesn't justify the means" kind of a guy. It's nice if what they're doing helps the country out, but that doesn't make it any better in my eyes.
  8. Well, kidnapping innocent sailors is wrong, no?
  9. Oh give me a break. Two wrongs don't make a right.
  10. Because threatening/kidnapping/killing people is totally fine.
  11. Communism isn't inherently bad/evil/icky, it's just another ideology. The interesting turn came from the pirate apologists.
  12. Yeah, this thread certainly took an interesting turn.

Pretty much, it's a business, not a charity.
  14. The sources, you can check them.
  15. He could have been the next Stephen Hawking or Einstein, but instead he wastes his talent on digging.

To be fair, the rating were totally in the toilet and FOX did give him a second season. No network would have kept Dollhouse around with ~2 million viewers and at least they're airing all the remaining episodes. Joss needs to do more cool internet stuff like Dr. Horrible.

The back-to-back double episodes start this Friday. The (now) series finale will be called "Epitaph Two: The Return" and it will feature Felicia Day. Yay! It will air at the end of January.
  18. Nope, I think he was sick or something.
  19. Assassin's Creed II Obsidianites, I am disappoint.
  20. Par-ley? It would be a fine joke if the piracy helped them stabilize the country and the currency. Maybe IMF should pitch in with some bullets and rockets?
  21. Divorcee? I thought they stoned women instead in those parts. Obviously it's an advanced society with free market economy and social equality. Screw China, Africa is the next superpower.
  22. No mang, it's all about the free market. You're part of the system, mang.
  23. Now that's what you call organized crime. Capitalism!
  24. Nothing to see here, move along.
  25. That depends on how and where Wikipedia is used. In forum debates such as this one Wiki is fine, in formal papers - not so much. *Looks around* Yup, still in a forum debate... Obviously academic papers etc. are held to a higher standard.
