the question is: why play the game after you've beaten it? all the leveling you've done was to ease the final challenge. after you're done why would you want to keep playing, running around empty locations with no real enemies or quests?
agreed. I don't understand what's the point in making all these small "alternative" plot lines, when there's always one that's gonna be considered "canon".
personally I'd like it to stay this way reviews are good when you can't decide if it's worth getting a game, but with NV I figure everybody here already made up their minds
so the internet was down and I couldn't play. fixed the connection today, COHO tried to patch itself and suddenly told me I've run out of disk space! turns out the patch weights 6 and a half gigs. that's like a whole new game and I don't have any partitions bigger than 25 GB, the game already weights 15... I guess what I'm trying to say is: they're insane!
bah, GTA was never about these things for me, I'd always cheat where it was possible to skip the dating and money making. Four has amazing missions, my personal favorite is the bank robbery, reminds of Mann's "The Heat".
no way GTA IV is fantastic, I don't understand. it's right up there with GTA II and Vice City, there's no way I'm believing, you, having enjoyed previous titles, didn't like the last game. it's the same as usual but 10 times better!
seriously, it was confirmed that previous saves would matter in DA2? this game looks to me like a new beginning, with only a few ties to origins, why bother?
it's kinda cool actually. you can save a lot of time by skipping all the fluffy stuff and concentrating on what's really important: gameplay and functionality
actually it looks like Van Buren itself, which makes sense: if you had a plot for a fallout game ready and somehow have gotten your hands on the license, wouldn't you use this story (at least partially) instead of writing a whole new one from scratch? I think it's great, makes me feel like Van Buren came back from the land of the dead
I played it with a gamepad, and the story and characters weren't enough to keep me glued to it I felt it was a great game, but... oh well, I hope part 2 makes it onto the shelves, it looks promising so far.
oh, Giants was fantastic. I'd say Giants is closer to Sacrifice than to BGE. but I'm in no position to discuss BGE because I only played it for a couple of hours before I got bored
those sneaky devs will tell you anything to calm you down I can totally see how it was actually toned down for filming purposes.
oh yeah, one other thing: I just finished Awakening and it sucked
the combat is a lot better, but it's bordering on insanity (looks a bit like Warriors Orochi or something). it's obviously going the way ME2 went, maybe it's for the better
