Ironman: Icewind Dale II
why would anyone want to play DAO twice is beyond me

Ironman: Icewind Dale II
but the fade was the only thing that kept me playing dao i mean the mages' tower part, where you have to gather shapeshifting forms in order to advance. it was one of the best RPG-moments in a very long time

Fallout: New Vegas
why all this secrecy, Beth? jeez. the game is almost due

Mass effect 2 and Dying True Rpgs
I hope, that the "players skipped 15% of conversations" thing will persuade Bioware to stop abusing the conversation wheel

Mass effect 2 and Dying True Rpgs
probably, true RPGs are games, which stand close to table-top RPGs in terms of gameplay

Company of Heroes Online
said passenger was the one that steered the car into the other vehicle, as I understand

Dragon Age 2
wow, talk about different perspectives that's the only thing I enjoy in such games: micromanaging several characters in battle. I always turn off friendly AI in every game

Company of Heroes Online
wow...

Mass effect 2 and Dying True Rpgs
I like clever plot twists in fiction. I appreciate, when the author at least tries to save me from boredom. ME's writers failed at it completely.

Fallout: New Vegas
guess, that rifle is Josh's personal favorite

Company of Heroes Online
well, the xp you earn saves, but the progress doesn't. and guess what? tried the mission now, and the server kicked me out again, only this time half-way through. I'm getting frustrated...

Company of Heroes Online
oh, crap... I spent 3 hours on a mission, and right when I was about to end it I got disconnected I guess there's no auto-save for such cases?

Mass effect 2 and Dying True Rpgs
because some of us enjoy it? anyway, it did have the same story, ME. a hero jedi/spectre goes far-far away pursuing his duty only to find an ancient evil, which transforms him, he then goes rogue. a newbie spectre/jedi is tasked with eliminating the new enemy. then he destroys some derelict ship and saves the day, woohoo. how is it not the same? the only major difference was the plot twist in KOTOR with the rogue jedi and the newbie jedi being the same person. that only proves KOTOR's plot had a lot more to offer. ME is more straight-forward and simplistic. in terms of gameplay they don't differ much either. KOTOR is focused on lightsaber battles, obviously making it a FPS would just over-complicate things. now, ME2 utilized a slightly different formula, it definately was an improvement design-wise. the plot, however, leaves a lot to be desired

Mass effect 2 and Dying True Rpgs
but ME1 is in fact KOTOR but with swapped models and names same story, same everything, only lightsabers get dumped for overpowered guns (I tested my handgun on the "tanks", it hit harder than the MAKO cannon)

Manhunt was the **** for me, absolutely brilliant. Where Splinter Cell felt like crap, Manhunt made up for. great game, but maybe too violent for some tastes.

Mass effect 2 and Dying True Rpgs
I guess, it says in "The Complete Idiot's Guide To Writing Trilogies", that the second part has to be soft. but it doesn't. it has to be better than the first.

Mass effect 2 and Dying True Rpgs
huh? I don't want to point out the obvious, but what about The Empire Strikes Back? Aliens? Terminator 2?

Company of Heroes Online
I can't figure out how to find people, my american commander's name is Shiver

Mass effect 2 and Dying True Rpgs
I just hope not all RPGs, period, but Bio RPGs only

Mass effect 2 and Dying True Rpgs
I still think ME was KOTOR2 in disguise. same kind of BS with a different flavor. now, ME2 improved the part where you have to drive a tractor, making it disappear. but planet scan isn't much better. the secondary missions had to go so they did, for the most part, thank god. I do agree, that the story is boring and doesn't make much sense, but when did Bio know how to write a good story? anyway, ME was not very good, ME2 is slightly better, but I personally enjoyed Alpha Protocol more.

Ironman: Icewind Dale II
I liked the Ice Temple (for tons of xp), it's mini-puzzles and the Battle Square especially, a great concept.

Ironman: Icewind Dale II
not like it's needed. it's very easy to take out that one monster, who sounds the alarm, grease worked like a charm for me

Company of Heroes Online
why don't you just flash your in-game name here for everybody, who might be interested, to see? I've finished tutorials and getting through campaign. the game looks like a wild mix of Generals and Z, I'm liking it anyway, I've chosen Germany for the "Tigers", does it mean I can't play coop with those, who have an american general?

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS THREAD!, just a dumping ground
hey, surprisingly, it's a turn-based MMORPG I actually enjoyed Atlantica Online (think Disciples, same combat system), the graphics in this Wakfu don't appeal to me. then again, it kinda reminds me of Final Fantasy Tactics, which is a good sign.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS THREAD!, just a dumping ground
finally, a full release with all DLCs in one package. I wonder how much cheaper it's gonna be compared to buying all the DLCs separately
