  1. What are You talking about? The only official mention, as far as I know, of any kind of DRM so far has been: Please notice that, no one is mentioning boxed copies, and that Steam (with it's inherent DRM) is there only as one of the possible digital distributors (and I'd guess it's there not because of it's DRM, but because of it's convenience).
  2. what looks promising for the kickstarter (if this is it) is, that wasteland 2 raised several hundred thousands in a few hours just by announcing Chris Avellone's involvement. this time a sizable portion of the (old) black isle team will be involved.
  3. For all true World Cup fans: vuvuvu.forums.obsidian.net
  4. A bit of blatant advertisement, or a notice for those, who might be interested: I'm not completely sure where the source for this is coming from, but the first two days seemed to be accurate enough.
  5. And at this point, I would like to point out that Commandos 3: Destination Berlin was still a true commandos game (= top-down tactical strategy game, or however You define it), and that it was Commandos: Strike force that what was a complete travesty and mockery of it's predecessors. But I'm all up for calling this new game Commandos 4.
  6. A bit off topic, but, CHEERS TO YOU! It's been 10 years since AQ2 launched, and I (and a few others) still enjoy it as much as the first time I DLed it with my 56k.
  7. So the game makes profit, but the studio still doesn't get fundings for the next project (despite the game being - as he says and I agree - seriously good). I don't think piracy and hardware dealers were the (only) two biggest problems of Titan Quest and Iron Lore.
  8. After a full level range and an epic level campaign, a well written low-level one is what I'd like to see.
  9. Gish. Fun for short sessions and has split-screen/split-keyboard MP.
  10. I don't think I've ever seen a RPG set in wild west. I'd sure like to see one.
  11. As long as I get to chose when to update and not the program itself.
