  1. It sure did alot of different in the last level, ran alot smoother and looked better too. Atlhough in the beginning of the game it still stuttered acted all weird.
  2. Mass effect 2 was good and fun, but it was nothing over the top, nothing special. Mass effect 2 is simple and the AI is simple. It didn't need any good AI. The combat mechanics although fun, were not anything new to be honest. Same old same old. Yes, I love mass effect 1 and 2 but they didn't bring anything new onto the table.

    Alt Tab bug

Is gamebooster usable through steam though?
  4. SIE Madison Mina Scarlet Although it was more SIE shagging me than me shagging SIE
  5. Sure, if you managed to repack the files and replace the music with your own But that aint possible. At least not yet.
  6. Indeed. I'm an American, but I love RPGs like Alpha Protocol, Divinity II: Ego Draconis, Risen, etc. It's truly a shame, but the straight up bromance shooters are more appreciated over here. Yep Americans absolutely hate rpgs: Morrowind 89 Oblivion 94 Fallout 3 91 NWN2 82 NWN2: MoTB 82 KoTOR 93 KoTOR II 85 The Witcher 81 Mass Effect 89 Mass Effect 2 94 DA:O 91 Also Risen 77, is not a hated score. Another funny thing to note, Alpha Protocol 74 has a better critic average, then user score. Well, they probably played those games expecting them to be rpgs. I somehow doubt they did that with alpha protocol even though Alpha protocol is alot more rpg than mass effect 1 and 2.
  7. So you registered just to post this? The graphics aint bad. Sure, the game doesnt look as good as for example crysis. There are alot of people that bought, played and actually like the game despite the bugs and the ugly(although I'd say good) graphics. If you cant play past the first 30 minutes of a game then something is not seriously wrong, its more the fact that you cant be arsed to try. Tons of people that hated the game at first actually changed their mind once they actually started playing the game properly. Its good enough to get a sequel in my mind, hopefully one with a different graphics engine, I dont really like UE3... it has too many flaws. And as for absurdly devoted? People dont have to be even devoted to disagree with your post.
  8. Nice, didnt think much of bugs like that except for a few. Enemies/friendlies are completely oblivious to turrets... this one is really annoying even though it makes it easier to get my enemies killed. Would be more fun if they actually shot back. Oh and the fact that despite not killing any marines, the report says that I did and so does the news report and the conversation with leland later in the game.
  9. Its a shame the game doesn't take shadows into account. While I can understand G22 soldiers being able to see in the dark, with their goggles and all, the rest shouldnt be able to. But thats the way they made the game.. design flaw if you ask me.
  10. I think they forgot some things when they programmed the AI. For a hacked turret is not treated as a hostile target, and therefor the enemy can just stand/walk infront of one slowly getting mowed down but they do nothing about it. They just stand there and take the beating until they die. You'd think that they would at least fire back.
  11. I think its that way for everyone no matter how they do it. Its a bug.
  12. Whats your computer specs?
  13. Only it doesn't suck eggs, not even on the PC with mouse and keyboard.
  14. I obviously found 200 000$ in Marburgs mansion, according to the mission details. Only I didnt and didnt get that much. More like 20 000
  15. An extra mission hub would definitely be something I'd like to see or at least extra missions for the existing hubs(more dealings with the triads in taipei would be nice).
  16. 1. Its not a dumb fps. 2. Why? 3. That is more of a DLC thing.
  17. Yes I did, but it doesnt fix it for everyone, at least not completely. It did reduce it by alot though.
  18. Didnt see that trailer before, but I love it! Especially the castro bit, haha.
  19. I haven't really had any major bugs, just the mouse jerkiness. The stuttering went away after a couple of ini fixes but the mouse is still freaking out from time to time but nowhere near the way it was without the fixes. I definitely recommend you to buy the game. Oh and yeah, I'm playing it on PC.
  20. So it was James Hong? I thought I recognized the voice. Even the face looked somewhat similar
  21. I'd like a patch as much as anyone, but the game is still very playable and enjoyable despite the issues. Dont trust the bad reviews, there is much more to the game.
  22. Thanks for clearing it up Joseph. Nice to get a dev answer. Hopefully we will see more developer activity on these boards now that the game has been out for a couple of days.
  23. Its like they are playing an entirely different game. However I cant say that Swedish PC gamer magazine had a bad review, they gave it 8/10 and never mentioned any bugs in their review. At first, Alpha protocol might seem like a bad game and you might get really annoyed by the few bugs there are(like the mouse issues that were driving me insane) and say "Thats it, Im not playing it until there is a patch". But once you get past that, there is so much to the game and there is depth to the plot, not to mention how different it can be depending on what you say and in what order you do the missions etc.
  24. Did anyone actually try changing the values and see if it did any difference in the game?

    Jerky mouse fix

I got stealth, sabotage and assault rifles as my main skills at the moment and only pull out the AS if needed. But when I do I can really feel the mouse issues.
