Filling in the plot holes at the end...
Ostkant replied to Boiler98's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
That is too bad, Brutus. I am on my third time through KOTOR 2, seems like I never get tired of it. The same goes for KOTOR 1, that's some great replay value. -
KotOR II: The Sith Lords Wrap Report - Part 2
Ostkant replied to funcroc's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Seems to me like everyone are focusing on graphics. I really do not want to imagine KOTOR with a different engine... what a nightmare. KOTOR is to me the engine that it is, I can't imagine something else. They'll probably screw it up, but I hope not. -
I pity you, really. I'm on my third time through the game and I have never experienced some ultra-annoying bug. When did you buy your Xbox? Try to find out when it was made. If it says 28th May 2004 it should be the latest "version" available, which is the version I have - and I'm bugfree.

Filling in the plot holes at the end...

Then I assume he was some sort of Force sensitive that was drawn to Malachor, but you cannot say for sure that he didn't follow Revan. Gareth, what do you mean? Is this your way of telling me that last sentence is stupid? I'm just saying I can help people understand the story of KOTOR 2, or atleast attempt to answer their questions regarding KOTOR 2. -
If you tell the game Revan was LS, Carth should appear quite often. I met him after destroying the Ravager and he spoke to me, wondering if I know where Revan is. He also explains on how he met Revan on the Endar Spire and everything until the death of Malak. He is a Republic Admiral. After talking to you, Bastila shows up, I won't say what she said though.

I felt rather the same with the Handmaiden, in a second she was in my grasp, overcoming even my own DS meter. She was maxed out while I was a bit away from maxing out. I've always preferred the DS in KOTOR games, the Light is ok but I personally enjoy DS a lot more.

PC SUBJECT TO XBOX "LIMITATIONS"
Ostkant replied to vappour's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Maybe you can get it into your small head(s) that some people just don't afford this and that upgrade parts for a PC, not to mention inserting the weird things into the PC, which is something I cannot be bothered with doing myself. I bought Xbox because it would run Star Wars Battlefront, which my PC could not run (only very poorly). Consoles have always been the foundation of games, and they should not be seen as something useless that the PC easily conquers. Good for you if you got some monster-PC, but we all can't have that. -
TO THE DEVS : Blunderous Game Mechanic Bug!

I think you have been exposed to too much Star Wars. Turn off the screen and walk away or the next thing we will hear you say will be "pusha shaka laka" or something like that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's hilarious. Especially your 5000 posts, just goes to show who has been exposed to what too much, not to mention the fact that you got all those postcounts under a year. -
Filling in the plot holes at the end...

If she was his first master is something I do not know for sure, but what I do know for sure is that Revan went to different Masters for advice and all that, but as I understand it Revan visited Kreia mostly, both before and after his time as a Sith Lord. I think Nihilus was one of the many Jedi that left the Order to fight in the Mandalorian Wars by Revan's side. The Ravager is a Republic ship (or atleast WAS) because it is said when you board the Ravager that it still has 'Mandalorian fire wounds' or something similar. I cannot remember too clearly but it's a clear indication that the ship had been shot by Mandalorians. Also on Malachor you find "broken Republic ship" places, and on the inside they all look like the Ravager looked inside. So this fact pretty much confirms that Nihilus fought with the Republic along with all the other fallen Jedi that followed Revan and Malak to war, all those Jedi that left the Order to fight in the Mandalorian Wars - Nihilus was a Jedi, to answer your questions. I don't know how the Exile escaped, but he simply did. I suspect that the ship you find Sion meditating in is the ship he escaped with, though that's a bit of a wild guess. How he did it and with what ship isn't important for me though. Trayus Academy fed upon all the deaths that had occured at the same time right there near it, and it drove all Force Sensitives there. It calls out them, makes them really feel the Dark side, and turns them to the Dark side. Sion is most likely also an ex-Jedi that fought under Revan's command in the Mandalorian Wars, like Nihilus and the Exile - like so many others. Kreia was drawn to Trayus Academy along with Sion and Nihilus and other people (all the Sith in the Academy) and the three of them learned of the secrets of the academy, not sure if those were the only ones though. Sion learned Pain, Nihilus learned Hunger, Kreia learned Betrayal. This says on the loading screens. Revan also turned so many people to his/her side by using the power of the Trayus Academy. Those that Revan had captured had the choice to get turned to his side or simply die - we all know what choice was the most popular one. Most people would do themselves a great favor by reading this post, I hold the answers to many questions. -
idea for a good kotor 3 ideas

That's like my idea, it's on the first page, I think. It's very similar to yours, I like your idea. Though I do NOT want to face Exar Kun's spirit. -

Yes, could be online co-op... but also Splitscreen with a friend. If Revan and the Exile do the same mission, both would co-operate. -

Azkul was trained at Malak's Academy, most likely for elite units or special units. Kreia wasn't the only master Revan had, Revan had many masters, but as I read, it seemed that Revan returned to Kreia after KOTOR 1 but before KOTOR 2. Lastly her, I think. And again, Revan went to the Unknown Regions, not the Outer Rim. Also, I believe Nihilus was just a man, like Visas said. Not anyone special, just a soldier. He was at Malachor when everybody there died, and he along with the Exile escaped the shadow-generator, Nihilus used the Ravager to escape. Both of them survived it - the death of so many caused them both to be "deafened" to the Force, rendering them both as wounds in the Force. This is why both of them rely on others to gain power. This is not speculation, this is what I learned from the game after beating it twice on LS and DS. Sion did most likely get heavily wounded in Malachor, as for Kreia I don't know. Also Nihilus used the remnants of the Sith fleet in his assault(s), and everyone that came near him (or probably on the same planet) could greatly feel his presence and would quickly by consumed by his power of the Dark side. This is how he got so many people on his side, he would all brainwash them. He did this with General Vaklu and that guy that returns on the Ravager after you thought you killed him in the Palace (though Kreia revives him). Ask me questions, I have answered so many of my own questions just by beating the game twice, I can most likely help anyone understand. -

By your conclusion I wonder why you lack absence in this forum. It is rather obvious you are against the whole KOTOR thing, so just space yourself back to wherever you came from, we don't want any off-worlders talking Bantha poodoo about KOTOR. It's not that big of a deal about the speed thing, but it's one of many ridiculous bugs that were never solved. The penalty for an early December release is the bugs, the reward for waiting two more months than that is a lesser buggy international version of KOTOR 2. The developers of KOTOR 2 have confirmed this. -

I think KOTOR 3 should allow you to play as the Exile or Revan, you choose. You would see the story from both eyes, the story that is to come in KOTOR 3, that is. And they should both do different things. Like Revan goes to 4 planets, the Exile does that as well, just not the same planets. And then as you closer proceed towards the ending, they must co-operate. So they end up meeting eachother. So this would add a lot to the replay value, you could of course go Light or Dark, and you could be Female or Male, (as Revan or Exile) not to mention all the classes and the usual stuff that already makes the KOTOR games so fun to play over and over again. Does anyone understand my idea? It is however unclear to me if they should know about eachother's "operations" or if they should just hear rumors about eachother throughout the game, and then finally end up meeting eachother, attempting to both do the same thing, and then decide to co-operate. Would be cool if they made up a new ship for one of them (if they were to work independetly) but if they were to work together they would both use the Ebon Hawk, and have half of the KOTOR 1 crew mix up with half the KOTOR 2 crew. -
Master Vandar (the guy that looks like Yoda) died on the Katarr world, I believe. Nihilus killed them all. I hate how Yoda's race and he himself is so overrated. Also, I think the most powerful persons were the ones that had their big tombs in KOTOR 1 and 2, (on Korriban AND Dxun) when it comes to Dark side, Revan as well, though Revan could have been Light as well, it depends on what you want. Luke and Anakin and Yoda were among the most powerful Light siders, Mace Windu seemed badass as well, but I don't he could beat Revan. And look, the games let you progress so fast because you are always some special case - Revan already had the powers, but they slowly decreased, but when he started increasing his power again it went faster, seeing as he had already had it once. It's only the first time ever that takes the longest, most likely. And the Exile:

Malachor 5 explains a lot of things. It affected so many things. It killed a lot of people, basically everyone you meet was there. It is the reason you became 'deaf' to the Force. The death of so many people. They explained it in the game, that you could create places dead in the Force, and wars were the real way to do that. That's what happened at Malachor, and Revan knew how to do this. I have so extremely much to say, but I don't have the time. I learned a lot from beating the game on LS and DS. Also, Revan went to the Unknown Regions, not the Outer Rim. -
Comprehensive Sith Lords List
Ostkant replied to Darth_Gandalf's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
But Uthar and Yuthura were never Sith Lords. Just two experienced Sith that ruled the Sith Academy on Korriban. -
Ludozee are you serious? The goddamned Hutt is joking. Go space yourself!

Who Do You Think Should Make KOTOR III?
Ostkant replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I see it was to good to be true - 16 pages must mean spam and off-topic replies -
I think it's in the books, not sure. Though I did read at the official site (most likely in the EU part) that he lived to be 100 years old, along with Leia. Still we have to realize he became more powerful than Yoda ever was. Yoda is overrated just because he can jump his green butt off.

Kreia says in the Jedi Academy on Telos that Atton is a murderer? He says something like "Don't tell him". What has he done? Did he kill a Jedi?
