  1. The cheapest one. Even my Geforce 4 MX 420 (64 MB) video card runs KOTOR 1 excellent. Imagine how one of those you mentioned would run it then... perfectly.
  2. I chose a double-bladed Orange one. It is red on the glow, but the White core isn't White - it's Orange. Like one of the special crystals in the first game.
  3. Why defend him? His name makes sense, he is cool, but what the heck is he? What's with the alien-talk? Why didn't we find out who this person is? What is Nihilus, really? Who is Nihilus, some sort of veteran? Same goes for Sion. Why did he get hurt so bad and who the heck was he - another exile or what? I don't get it, really. Their personalites were thrown in the basket of thrash. And I thought Nihilus was the master, but no, Nihilus is the first Sith Lord you meet, and he proves to be no match at all. I expected Sion to be the "underling" or apprentice, but it seems everyone was all upside down.
  4. If you play as a DS Female but it must be only DS Female, otherwise which explains why he is alive, someone got him off the planet.
  5. You're a perfectionist then? If it is true that you will not buy KOTOR 2, then why do you post on a KOTOR 2 forum? And I also read that you don't even like KOTOR, which makes me say once again - don't post here if you don't like it. And I think we should get ON TOPIC now. Look, they said the same thing about KOTOR 2. Bioware was like "We have planned no sequel to KOTOR" and next thing you know screenshots pop up everywhere. I don't care what I read or hear, there will be a third game.
  6. Wow... cool
  7. Thanks. What's the pacificer thing for then?
  8. What does the pacificer do? Or is it just a part of repairing HK-47? I cannot remember the names of the parts.
  9. Maria - I admire your wisdom and knowledge, and your ability to answer so many questions that I had. Still, it's not all of them, and I need to know more. I must also say that it is Revan and not Reven, T3-M4, and the Exile can be both a he and she. Don't bother to comment on that, I won't even care if you continue to address them the way I told you not to. When I played, the Ebon Hawk fell down in a pit in Malachor. The scene is called "Death of the Ebon Hawk" or similar, and I don't understand, really. Everyone in it dies? Does my character become the leader of the Sith or what? He just lets Kreia die and then he remains on Malachor. Does he take over the Trayus Academy? And what's with all the corpses on Malachor? I didn't find a single datapad to give me a clue on what happened there. Most importantly of all: Who is Nihilus? What is Nihilus? What language is that which he speaks? Who is Sion? Even with all this answered, there are still many questions left, but it'll cover more than 50% of them... and with your great knowledge, Maria, I know you can answer them.
  10. Not exactly, but correct. That guy in the review had no idea what the heck he was saying most of the time.
  11. If you said Revan was a DS Female then yes Otherwise, he must be alive.
  12. EnderWiggin, you fail greatly to see the negatives of KOTOR 2. Surely you read my post in another thread on all the unanswered questions - things that were never explained, and not only that of course. Still, I noticed all the improvements in KOTOR 2, and I liked them. I focus on the positive parts of KOTOR 2 mostly, but still I felt like I was on a great date with a nice girl that didn't want to tell me her name and then ended up confusing me, leaving me at her door without words.
  13. That is odd, EnderWiggin, because I told the game that Revan was DS and and yes I had forgotten that if you say Revan was Dark, Zaalbar and the others got killed. But still as LS, I haven't heard from anyone that you meet most of the characters from KOTOR 1. I'm gonna play Light now to get some more questions answered, though probably not even 25% of them. Basically, this game almost gave me the "KOTOR orgasm" (not literally) that the first one gave me. It was close, but it didn't. There's an odd feeling over KOTOR 2 I cannot describe.
  14. I did not return it. I have barely experienced bugs, and of the few ones I have experienced they aren't even bothering me.
  15. I agree with the guy that started the discussion on SOME points. Malachor wasn't boring at all, in fact it's quite a scary planet. The Journal helped me a lot. But as you said, most people experienced huge bugs in the game, and so many questions were left unanswered, and some things just happened without explanation. The game had great potential. Let's not even bring Halo 2 into the discussion, a much overrated game I happen to own.
  16. I don't know, everytime someone "sends in" something it ends up disappearing without any word of it.
  17. Ok, let's discuss. Who the heck is Nihilus? What is Nihilus? Why is Nihilus not speaking English/Basic, and what is Nihilus speaking? Who is Sion, did he fight in the Mandalorian Wars? Why did Mandalore offer no way to speak with him and let you find out he is ? Where is Carth, where is Jolee, where is Mission, where is Bastila, where is Zaalbar? Why did the game make me feel like that was happening was extremely confusing, what is the Ravager really and where did it come from? How did the Sith get all their ships? That is a part of the many questions the game leaves unanswered. And I didn't get much saber crystals either. The robes weren't so many anyway, and it seemed those weird Initiate/Neophyte armours make even the Jedi Master/Dark Jedi Master robes useless, and I didn't like wearing that Matukai Apprentice robe either. I love KOTOR 2 but it confused me so very much.
  18. I see, but I have beaten the game and that's all the bugs I experienced.
  19. I barely even had bugs in my Xbox version anyway, so I don't really care about the news. Still, nice to hear. Then anyone would just borrow their friend's KOTOR 2 and go and claim they bought it. Though perhaps the serial number thing would prevent that
  20. 5000 years before Phantom Menace? I don't think so. Oh well, that review is so old.
  21. There have been more than one Darth Trayas.
  22. What is all this complaining about the bugs? I only experienced three, and they didn't bother me at all. One was my swoop flying in the air for a few seconds, and the second was a girl in the Onderon Cantina taking my starport visa without me letting her. Also my game freezed once or twice. That is honestly all my experience with the bugs in KOTOR 2. My Xbox is 1.6 (the newest version of it) maybe that is why. It's quite new. Odd that so many of you are having so much annoying bugs.
  23. Double-bladed is the way to go if you want deal out the most damage. Dual sabers and single I have not tried yet, only in KOTOR 1.
  24. Yes... It didn't feel like KOTOR 1 at all, it is so different.
  25. Must I go Dark side to do it? I recently completed the game on Dark side, and now I am focusing on Light... Oh well, I'll just load a file that is right after Telos, I guess. The fastest way to get HK is to go to Nar Shadaa first, right?
