Oy Vey. Now considering that Tough Mudder is in the middle of August.. I can't get a regular appointment with the doctors.. until the 2nd week of June.

Enjoying that Monday start where I get to go "ow. muscle ache. Need to keep stretching." I should probably make an appointment with the Doctor just to cover the basics. The whole "Apart from getting blood pressure checked about 6 months back.. I haven't really seen a doctor for any check-ups as such in a decade." So before I really throw myself hard into Tough Mudder training, maybe it's an idea just to have that check up....

Got into my first batch of training with my friend and his wife for Tough Mudder. Made it through, threw up just a little bit after the cooldown after. Staggered home, and time for some sushi and juice and then sink into a bath I think.... I'm hoping if I do get into this training cycle, it'll help my sleep. The last month has been chronically bad doze/wake constantly. That and I've realised I've hit that point where after ten years with my waist the same size, in the past two years it's gone up a couple of inches.

Some friends are doing the Tough Mudder event, and have invited me to join in. I'm pondering on just how much training for it I would need. A 10-12 mile assault course event. I should improve my cardio...

I need to get some research done for work related activity. For some reason, possibly not helped by a patch of wake/doze/wake/doze sleep this past month I've got stuck in a ridiculous procrastination patch and minor pokes rather then solid get to grips with it. Also, I've been invited to TeslaCon towards the end of the year. I might have to give some thought to suitable steampunk costuming for the occasion.
