  1. I realised I had an odd yen to play something more in the FPS line then I had in awhile..and Call of Juarez Gunslinger was only about £3 from Amazon so I've been cheerfully shooting cowboys...
  2. Watch the whole 3 seaons, then hit the film.. Definitely worthwhile. Also watch out for the odd cameos of the likes of Joss Whedon and a few others who likes the show so much they got themselves put in it...
  3. Stephen King's IT ... as a family film. http://youtu.be/wdf2tqSy2zc
  4. That's one of the reasons email or a letter can work best to..cover certain grounds. When you're in face to face, or live conversation it can be easy to flow with the emotions and snap something out that you didn't mean to say, or in a tone that gets it misinterpreted when emotions are running high. But, here's hoping things sort out for you Hurl.
  5. Calmly and rationally reply to it, point out that the woman you love, the mother of your children, and the person you plan on growing old with.. basically gets insulted and verbally abused by that side of the family, and as such you see no point in spending time in such a toxic environment unless they can deal with their attitudes. Don't be confrontational about it, just extremely cool and to the point. On my side of things, I'm currently fatigued after an evening session where legs and core were hammered hard, and some shoulder work thrown in. Basically one week and loose change in, training every other day... Now to see if I can keep this up and actually improve in the next three months...
  6. It's all about the edit..and the background music.. http://youtu.be/U71P5FKFqfg
  7. Heh, I'm not grasping at it, I'm just idly poking. It's a bit cliché, but then, cliché happens.

  9. Zilch seeing as you can play as a qunari/kossith/vashoth/what-ever-the-****-they-call-them-now. Ah, I don't really see that as an issue , since you emerge from the Fade. Seriously, Morrigan's kid, exposed to a archdemon's soul and growing up in the Fade? Who says it's going to have to grow up and look like a straight out human/elf/dwarf?
  10. So.. since the Inquisitor you play is the sole-survivor of some tear in the Veil that kills thousands.. and no-one actually knows who the Inquisitor is, what are the odds you'll turn out to be Morrigan's baby all grown up? Or have we already had that throw in and I missed it?
  11. Interesting one.. Kotaku - Video Games Help Returning Soldiers Cope
  12. Graham's Crusted Port, 2004. Along with some single blend whiskey that had a faint chocolate taste. That was slightly quirky.
  13. BBQ with a friend, throw in a mix of late anniversary celebration since they were out of the country for their actual anniversary. Turned into a mix of whiskey, port, and cigars - some very fine Arturo Fuento Anejo 77's. Along with the "ash" competition - just how much ash you could keep on the cigar without it dropping...
  14. This half makes me want to pick up the dlc and replay Dragon Age 2 again. Hm, much as I enjoyed aspects of it, yeah, I can't really feel up to it in summery weather.
  15. Heh, a friend of mine has a teenage daughter who is into cosplay and attends fantasy / sci-fi conventions in costume. Knowing this, I threw them a link to a unique corset shop when it had a sale and both mother and daughter went squee over the corsets and picked up a couple. The daughter happened to pick one that was a certain white and black colouring and in a pattern that just... let's just say screamed "French maid" but she didn't realise it. When it arrived and she put it on she was ecstatic. Then I did the "does she realise she looks like a French maid now?" to her mother. When it got pointed out, daughter kind of has that furious "NO!! I don't!" response. Now whenever she's being a bit flighty, her mother just looks at her and goes "Ooo-La-lah!" and the daughter melts down into a pile of furious, teased embarrassment. Apparently it's become a very effective way of dealing with a stressing out teenager.
  16. I'm not sure what you mean by mess? The AC games are very stable and have a huge following. For example I have played every AC game except for Black Flag To be fair, with the current level and quality of telecommunications, it shouldn't be as hard to keep things organised/on track over different countries then it is to keep different departments scattered around a building. The problems would be more shared language/cultural work attitudes, and time zones.
  17. English spring/summer. The sun is blazing, the heat is rising... And I ended up out of bed far too early for a Saturday morning to jog half a mile uphill, run the police assault course as "practice" with odd bits of exercise as shown by my friend who is in charge of training us, then jog the half mile down hill. Key things noted, I need to improve my leg strength, and get my general cardio up to improve fatigue levels. Personal goals today. Shower. Seriously shower, drink, eat. Potentially collapse and let the next 12 hours go by with little movement...
  18. To go with the rest of the day's trailers.. Watch Dogs collected info-dump in one. http://youtu.be/ulFeUCAI5xM

  20. Okay, Timothy Omundsen as a singing, evil King, and Vinnie Jones as his henchman? What is not to love?
  21. For the sideline note.. The fan-made "live action trailer" for Akira.. http://youtu.be/t1GO-93Nt3c
  22. Oy Vey. Now considering that Tough Mudder is in the middle of August.. I can't get a regular appointment with the doctors.. until the 2nd week of June.
