  1. Couldn't decide where this would best fit in.. so I thought I'd just throw it here. http://youtu.be/CbIZU8cQWXc
  2. To be fair, it's not one I think is worth the cinema trip, but it is one I plan to pick up for the dvd library.
  3. The Expendables 3. They all have obvious fun just playing around with it, and that is entertaining viewing in its own way.
  4. Sometimes it's all about the costuming.. (well, that and the Friday end of week thing)
  5. Wow, Kristen Bell is a dead ringer for Julie Andrews. Indeed. She carried it off incredibly well, both the look and the singing.
  6. Okay, this one worked well for me.. FunnyOrDie - Mary Poppins Quits (with Kristen Bell)
  7. And fresh from ComicCon announcement and such.. io9 - Keep Flying - Firefly Online And there's a chunk of other little details and art shots and such-like there... http://youtu.be/8y98otfH9X8

  9. I don't think it really gives much away, they create a character, have about two combat sequences, show off some of the graphics in general and dialogue. While Josh and two guys talk around stuff, wander into commentary about Icewind Dale 2 adventuring companies, commentary about kickstarter, and other bits and pieces.
  10. Registered up for Tough Mudder. So on the 17th of August, I will probably be wishing I was dead and resting somewhere, as I struggle through the Cirincester Mudder course. .. I'm really hoping the heatwave will have firmly passed us by when that time arrives.
  11. Heh, and in the non-surprise... BBC News - New Broadband Users Shun Porn Filter
  12. In regards to that recent "Lionfish" science news.. io9 - Sixth Grade May Have Stolen Biologists Research Frustratingly, there's actually a petition going around demanding that Arrington's name be added as an author to Jud's most recent scientific publication. Jud is now trying to figure out what to do about the situation without doing anything to discourage the girl. "Most of you are aware of the massive amount of time I put into exposing kids to science, and I obviously don't want to do anything to diminish this young lady's curiosity or enthusiasm," he writes. "I'm thrilled that she chose to look at lionfish for her science fair project, but encouraging an outright lie is poor parenting and a horrible way to introduce a youngster to a career in the sciences."
  13. If you liked Defying Gravity, you might like to chase up Threshold and Odyssey 5. Again, both sci-fi series that got cancelled after the first season, but both worked really nicely with over-all story arc, individual episodes, and some good character interactions and snarky dialogue.
  14. Sorry to hear Woldan, hope everything turns out well.
  15. To help round out the Sunday and prepare for the fresh week..
  16. They did do a w40k novel where a Rogue Trader found himself developing psychic powers, and ended up with an Eldar Farseer having set things up so that when the Farseer was "killed" the Rogue Trader had his soulstone, and ended up getting "soul switched". So the Eldar took over the mon-keigh's body, and the Trader's "soul" was trapped in the soulstone. There have been other instances where a powerful but "dead" Eldar was able to influence in various ways situations around their soulstone.
