  1. Yeah I liked that about the movie, I feel that more films should do that since everything is getting franchised nowadays anyways...BTW is that Passion of Christ sequel thing true?
  2. I hated both, compelling concepts but very flawed execution. Both games demanded different mechanics than what actually made into the game and in the end they both turned out to be bad CRPGs with a gimmick.
  3. I don't know if you been to Florida but most our buildings are at best two stories high and if you dare lay upon them you will be scalded to death.
  4. Nice work
  5. Do baby cows not matter to you? You monster!! Seriously though, if you're always taking the high moral ground at the very least try to hide your sins. I mean you're just inviting Volo to bugger you about how horrible you are for eating young animals. Do you think most members on this forum care about the plight of young cows and or sometimes the cruelness about where Veal comes from Talking about eating meat. one of the brothers after being a vegetarian for the last 25 years or so has no decided he is going vegan !!! I think people who take this extreme step are doing it for attention, also becoming Vegan is something that only people who have money to waste would do it ...in most third world countries the average citizen cant afford to become vegan I now find a chuckle from people going Vegan to avoid damage to animals. In one of the Joe Rogan podcast the subject came up and the argument that they displace a lot of the habitats of wild animals because of these organic farms that are exclusively vegan. Or how there have been experiments that some plants and fungi have sentience.

  7. I was never a fanboy of Warcraft but I still went to see it, if only to have a new topic of conversation. It wasn't so bad, the acting was competent with some of my favorite underrated actors and Paula Patton stole the show for me. Storywise the movie was a little all over the place for at least the first part and the characters, lore and locations weren't presented as well as they could have. It was all very superficial. I began enjoying it more towards the middle, once the actual conflicts gets underway and there is finally something happening, plus here is where the characters begin to actually develop. Visually there were some things that didn't work for me but considering the source material they did well with what they had to work with. All in all it felt like a B movie much along the vein of the Dungeon and Dragon movies, which are good for a watch on television. So if you curb your expectations you might get some joy out of it...and you probably should wait for the BluRay or until it comes on TV.
  8. Seems like black main character...yet I like it. It might be wrong but years of guessing and inferring from trailers have led me to believe that this character might be an accurate representation of black nerds (my favorite type) and not just a soapbox to complain about racism. Time will tell but at the very least it warms me that there can still be race without politics on today's charged climate.
  9. to love-ru is an example Do the tentacles romance the schoolgirls before robbing their virginity?
  10. I don't mind it either way; if they were just paying lip service (it should now be called lib service) and the game stands on its own without pushing any agenda, that would be ideal. If I feel that they laying it on to thickly I probably will give it a pass.
  11. I hate that feminist and SJW have made me think that any exposure to black and female characters is far leftist propaganda. Even should it be a heartfelt and honest action....that said she is both female and black and later we will probably learn that she's also disable or some such. Someone should really come up with a SJW checklist for character traits. I am sorry that you are so impressionable. You could just play games for fun and not worry about SJW or anti-SJW BS. I could but every once in a while it would hit me that there are bits of propaganda thrown in there. There is a clear difference between a game made by people who hold certain beliefs and propaganda. Or when the blinds spots we all have in our beliefs are shown in their work.

  13. I always found it more difficult to determine the scope if I have to be always looking for a bracket. It is just cleaner to have them on the same column and put the code one space to the right. The guy that will have to read that code will thank you for it.
  14. I just find it odd that Tony Stark who is more tech minded would use a format that makes it more difficult to read code. Maybe the whole point is to show that one cares about other people while the other is a self centered, arrogant and never has to revise his own code.
  15. I had to look her up as i had no idea on the context. Is it this perhaps? http://namebrandlindsay.com/2011/06/22/ethical-storytelling-or-why-i-did-it/ She basically had an abortion in order to create a documentary about abortion. Oh wow, now that tweet makes sense, pretty brutal. As I understand it, she made a documentary about abortion because she had decided to have an abortion and noticed that none of the documentaries that exist about the topic ever seemed to be from the perspective of someone who'd made that decision. Sorry to derail the thread, Ame, who's the the new avatar? She looks like a more attractive version of Maisie Williams.
  16. Didn't they label ME:A as a shooter? I thought they did in one of the initial release materials I just think that it is quaint how they try to hype their game by fishing, it's a noncommittal throwaway comment to gauge the audience and decide what direction should the game go. It happens all the time on product development.
  17. If it's true that the living costs of California require at least a $13.50/hour full time job then it makes sense that they would raise the minimum wage. Particularly when there are employers who refuse to hire full timers just so they don't have to pay benefits.
  18. That's it Keyrock, we're doing a tour of South America. You and me buddy!
  19. Considering that I'm Hispanic and that its mother's day it is a safe assumption that that song will play sometime today...and we'll sing along.
  20. Another song that few people know that it's a cover
  21. Birthday party for friends of the family; we say friends but its mostly like a second mother. Jolly good time of seeing childhood acquaintances, family and networking. I'm now filled with joy and alcohol.
  22. There might be a joke there somewhere but the babies thing is very off-putting.
  23. Baby steps, but it might signal the terrible future where humans can live forever but there is no cure for baldness.
