  1. No, I'm not glue. Good to see you're taking this so serious. Internet business is serious business. Are you an adhesive of some different sort then?
  2. Color me shocked. Don't know what you're complaining about though, you seem to be able to pay out of pocket with some remainder for whiskey.
  3. Yes I know a social democrat isn't going to usher in a revolution and at best he'd slap a band aid on a cancer patient, but at this point a band-aid would be better than nothing. If you've got a solution for my situation that isn't "blame the joos" or "try entrepreneurship dude weed lmao" I'd be interested in hearing it. Since you're paying out of your pocket then Loan Forgiveness is not your thing. Other than getting in touch with a financial specialist to see way to pay your loans or at least regain your capital, I got nothing. Also, lucky you actually being able to pay out of pocket.
  4. Bones thrown out so the population didn't revolt. I don't have student debt, I pay out of pocket with no loans or financial aid at all. Under the current system, I'm already having to pay taxes throughout the rest of my life and seeing nothing of value for it. Under Bernie's proposed system I wouldn't have to shell out about 2 months worth of pay(after taxes) from my ****ty job just to get what is essentially High School Diploma 2.0 so I can compete with 50 similarly educated people for a slightly less ****ty job. Do I have to explain the concept of self-interest to you or are you able to figure out why I would prefer the latter without any help You do know that Bernie's plan would drastically increase government spending without anything to back it. He will not seize the means of production, merely try to squeeze more taxes out of everyone.
  5. You two do realize that i'm from a Socialist country, right? Socialism is the state owning the means of production; what this entail can be anything in the private sector from agriculture to recreation. It is state owned and the state reaps the benefits. If you actually believe that in Socialism the state is a collective of the people or that they have the best interests of the people in mind you're sorely mistaken. No don't tell them. I've been getting a real laugh watching them explain how socialism really works to YOU! It is, indeed, quite funny how somebody who supposedly grew up in a socialist country apparently needs an explanation why the USA isn't socialist. I didn't say the the USA is Socialist, but just like China isn't entirely Communism the US has streaks of socialism dying its society. What do you think that the New Deal, Welfare and other social welfare programs are. This all refers to a post where Kaine mentioned how Bernie (Government owned higher education institution) could have prevented his student debt. My point was that he would still pay the same or more via taxes that he would have to give throughout the rest of his life. Meanwhile if your student debt is federal, the government already has debt forgiveness programs where they can erase most if not all of your debt. Consolidate your debt and get you lower monthly payments up until a term after which your debt would be erased irregardless of the total payed. Which even though I haven't crunched the numbers but just in terms of time seems a lot less than paying more taxes for the rest of your life. I don't know why the **** they're trying to argue about Socialism when he should be asking me about those programs and how to lower his stupid student debt. I guess winning the argument is more important than crippling debt.
  6. It's collective control over production and distribution. You can argue what ownership is till your face turns blue, but if you think "anything the state does" is socialism you're illiterate. I don't think he thinks socialism is "anything the state does". His definition is probably "anything the state does that I don't like".
  7. By forcing you to pay higher taxes afterwards and completely neglecting to mention the fact that there are Federal programs to help you forgive or lower your premium on Federal student loans. We have enough socialism already, we should be looking for less of it; particularly less of it for corporations and multinationals. We have collective ownership of production? Huh, seems I didn't get the memo. Socialism isn't ownership, its right below a timeshare in terms of how close it gets to actual ownership.

  9. Aspiring weeaboo fantasy writer whose work its subtle enough to pass as Western. I like this new troll, let's see how far it can go, I doubt that it will very forthcoming on the discussion but this forum's trolls have surprised me before.
  10. Seriously, my lower back has formed a labor union of pain, broken-off talks with management, and is threatening to strike. Hire scabs, I guess?
  11. I agree, though I suppose Twitter and Facebook fulfil that purpose now. The humble forum is dead! Nay, they will regroup in the most dark place of all the internet: Tumblr.
  12. I often feel that way on here. That's why I stay on the Community forums, less rabble make it here and when they do they are intimated by the level of rhetoric that we employ. I will say this, we have world class trolls that wouldn't operate on other forums because no one would understand them. It is elitist to say that we are better because we operate at a higher level; but truly, this community is.
  13. I feel somewhat obliged to clarify a thing here; because I come from a place that most of you would readily admit to be a tyrannical regime. The government stretches as far as what it can influence, the notion that because it is not done directly by the government nothing has been violated is ridiculous. Firstly, the bill of rights is not granted by the government, but recognized by it. They couldn't stop me from speaking my free mind within the confines of my own home and making it illegal would just be overzealous. Secondly, the fact is that government protects the rights of some while denies those of others based on the politics of the day. EG: Facebook has a right to deny their service to people they don't agree with but a bakery is punished because they don't want to serve gay weddings. Which of course the government does nothing about because of politics, neglecting their duty to uphold these God given rights. The fact is that the government influences other institutions and enforces a political view, and that is how it operated on the tyrannical regime where I come from. Not through direct action, not by sending people to a gulag, just by making sure that the detractors where declared persona non grata and that the institutions made sure to enforce the right political views. I see the same thing done by the US and just because i'm not the afflicted party doesn't mean that I can simply turn a blind eye to it. If I was capable of doing so at would at least be honest with myself and stop pretending that it was a about a better world, when it really is about fulfilling my self interest. But that might the last vestige of morality in me talking.
  14. I think that what will spill forth from there will poison the rest of the internet, we should be wary for signs of infection.
  15. Volo, you need to be more patient with the common folk. Theirs is not to remember what movies used to be or have the time to rewatch them, GB is a film. Nowadays that counts as a virtue, just simply making a film.
  16. Well, I gotten to Skellige and if you ever play the Witcher 3 you will know what i'm talking about next. Did they really had no better enemy for an isle with lots of cliff that you have to climb than a bunch of flying mermaids? I will forever remember that one damn rock where you stand for 15 minutes just waiting for a siren to get close enough that they can be dropped into the small portion of rock so that you can kill her. Because thanks to their combat system you can't run and climb at the same time and it defaults to combat mode as soon as you stop running. Tis a poor man's Assasin's Creed.
  17. So to explain in more detail, the worst crimes and unbelievable violence in SA is committed by a small percentage of black people who dont understand the reality of the country and have literally lost any sense of moral compass or compunction When these guys are interviewed after being caught they almost in all cases have the same background and reality Uneducated, unemployed and a complete lack of human emotions. This is not normal and Apartheid absolutely created or contributed towards this type of lack of humanity Its not an excuse, this is the result of 50 years of trying to mentally rewire people Bruce, you're going to have to explain to me how a thing that ended a long time ago is affecting people that were born afterwards.
  18. Good performance and it reminded me that Johnnie Depp is a good actor (one of my favorites actually) but the writing was a bit stale. The movie had some strong scenes that led nowhere because there was no overarching plot.
  19. You know what would be ideal, if I could come to the USA and make some minor structural changes to the US constitution...just to ensure better social cohesion Call it what you like, as long as we get you somewhere safe and away from that hellhole. BTW I'm currently working with a South African lady, are they all that pretty and funny or is she a rarity? Well I do think South African women are very attractive but I'm glad you meant someone who is additionally funny....what does she think about SA government or Trump? I don't know, politics isn't polite table talk and I rather only touch friendly topics.

  21. Bruce..just come to the US already, you can join with the rest of the liberals and try to undermine what little freedoms we have.
  22. Shani for the first game Triss for all the sequels. Next game better have a new main character...preferably another white male. Shani for the first game, and never Triss. She sexually assaulted my Geralt in the first game after I decided to be faithful with Shani. Never forgive, never forget. The first game might as well not be canon.
  23. I find you a boring species nonetheless, all your differences come down to traditional flavors. No one ever argues that snail is the best and is taken seriously.
