He Never Died Henry Rollins first protagonist role is on this indie film which the makers wrote with him in mind so it fits him like a glove and its what makes the movie. A smart quasi horror film with an interesting plot. I would recommend.

I do believe that the human of the future will be a lot like an RPG character, mostly because RPG systems are effective means of bridging the gap between complex systems that are encapsulated into abstract stats and human comprehension. So it lets the individual make educated choices without having to understand their inner workings, which would only become a problem if there is a fault on how those internal workings are interpreted and expressed.

I can't fault that quest because the references were subtle but I still dislike when media starts using references. It just takes me out of the story.

First, the only ones obsessed with youth are Hollywood and aging floozies that rely on their good looks to get by. When to comes down to American politics corporate interest are at the top, bipartisan issues and party politics take the second and thirdly are the issues that actually concern Americans which become a stage for parties and representatives to flex their muscles and brag, which means they don't get resolved.

Third parties don't usually work because the average american isn't really aware of the issues and just like everything else in this country their opinions amount to what information have they been bombarded with. At best they realize that they're in over their head and don't know enough to make an informed choice at worst they dive headfirst into the wrong one because the media has told them that its the best one(Hillary 2016)

I liked the idea of the combat, but yeah, it's like they didn't take into account that none of the styles were deep and it became easy far too quickly, as you said. Also agree that it was a transition stage for Bioware in the way of combat and with the sentiment that RPG companies could make good with hiring outside talent for better combat, but you know that'd bring out the angry RPG nerds who hate change. I liked what they did with the ME series. A new JE with bigger maps and polished, challenging combat would be great, but I don't see it happening. The setting is just too different for most people - not enough post apocalyptic dust nor medieval fantasy staff jousting. I seem to remember that I used those basic styles in combination by linking combos, switching quickly from one to the other. Other times I would just spam paralyzing palm with chi activated and used spirit thief after I was out.
