Ohno, I know what Authority's slogan is going to be when he closes a thread.. "RESPECT MY AUTHORITAAAA!"

Here's mine. Guess who it is.

http://images.southparkstudios.com/games/create/ Create your own South Park character. Or not. Well, NEVERMIND THEN. Sheesh.

I'm having a hard time discerning any PC processors that can rival the CELL in the near future though. The Athlon X2 might be fast someday, but right now it's not even close.

If I played him I'd be like "LALALALALALA!! AAAIIAAAIIAAAAIIHH!!" all the time.

We ARE indeed course mates without even knowing it The internet is a small place..

I wish a greenie could come by and confirm this isn't PNJ. I mean, would it hurt to rule out ONE of a billion possibilities?

Ohno, don't even hint at it being Project New Jersey! I'd have to kick a kitten if it turned out to be true! I can't think of a less interesting setting than the Marvel universe.

Explaining why dancing can be fun is like trying to explain why music can sound good or why food can taste yummy. I believe it's the connections you make on the dance floor that's fun. Sometimes it's just being able to let your body find the flow of the music and it feels like perfection. And sometimes it's just a boost to your ego when you realize the opposite gender is actually enjoying what you do.

There's a mod for GTA: San Andreas that replaces all the fake names on the cars and replaces them with their real life counterparts (I'm assuming you've recognized the different car models already). I tried it, but it didn't give me as much satisfaction as I had hoped. In fact, it actually felt wrong and I removed the mod.

I read in the newspaper that Detroit has offered Henrik Zetterberg ~700.000$ for his new contract! There's probably zero chance that Zetterberg would leave Detroit, but if there's a god in heaven, please make him move to Toronto! For that kind of money, he's a steal! A young, talented kid with a very bright future.

I used a MS quote ONCE, for YOU, when YOU said YOU had never seen MS say something. I quoted it for YOU, since again YOU REQUESTED IT. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This is an outright lie, which we've proved in another thread. Why isn't "obsessive lying" against the board rules? I'm so tired of guys like this (Epiphany and Volourn) who keep lying and trolling for no reason other than their own weak egos.

Yeah, I'm sure you wouldn't touch them with a 10-foot pole.

I'm taking a summer course in game programming (basic level) and when we discussed the chapter on AI, it turned out that you'd better be very good at statistical math if you're going to use the newest, hottest AI routines available right now. I'm really hoping the Obsidian programmers are keeping themselves up-to-date on the AI front

I couldn't help myself! I mean, in the beginning, Guevara and Castro were good for the people of Cuba. Then Guevara was murdered and Castro became crazy and paranoid and I don't think anyone nowadays thinks he's good for the people of Cuba. Goodenow helped hockey players immensely in the beginning. When he started, the owners were taking like 75-80% of the revenues. The players were just trade goods. Goodenow changed the way the league views its players (even the not so good players) but somewhere along the ride he must have thought of it as a personal mission or something. I mean, why fight for more when an independent report states that player salaries are eating up 76% of the revenues? It's just insane. Or greedy beyond belief. I wouldn't bet on seeing Castro resign though.
-
Yeah, he did so good he had to step down with "only" three years left on his contract. Also, he promised they would never accept "cost certainty" and a salary cap. They accepted both AND took a 24% salary rollback! Oh yeah, he did GREAT!!1!11 Bob was very good for the players at the beginning of his career, but (just like Fidel Castro) he lost direction somewhere along the way and ended up being a burden. Now if only Bettman could follow his lead and step down too. I think most of the players feel too much of an animosity towards Gary for him to sit there and continue his quest.

Jesus christ, Baley, could you please stop spamming every ****ing thread on the board to death? What I don't understand is why Epiphany reads about the 20000+ libraries that the PS3 developers are going to get hold of when they get the developer's kit and dismisses them as "old news"?! So what? New or old, they're still getting an awful lot of help. I am assuming you don't know what it means for a software developer to get efficient middle-ware, but it's like not having to re-invent the wheel everytime you start a project. It IS a big deal. Let's just hope that Epic aren't over-charging for their SDK as the Unreal 3 engine sounds like paradise with boobies to me.
-
It will be tough, no doubt, but they're getting help: http://www.gamespot.com/news/2005/07/22/news_6129611.html Lots of it! I am not worried. Sony are taking this seriously.

That's because most men consider their wives to be the prettiest of them all and are very proud of them. Girls are more like.. "Mmm.. I want chocolate..".

I tried to hate the new logo, but I failed. I honestly think it suits the 'new' NHL very well, since it looks stronger, simpler and less gaudy (whatever that has to do with the new NHL). It looks like a massive piece of steel, engraved only with the letters N, H and L. Lovely. I'd almost go as far as to call it a swedish style

Noone (not even Sony) has claimed that the standard for all games will be 1080p. That was never the point, no matter how you twist it. The PS3 is supposed to be the media center of your home and I bet that's where the two 1080p outputs will come to use. If any games will support it (highly doubtful since noone has two of those tv-sets) only time will tell.

No, but everytime the dance schools have free introductory lessons, my girlfriend forces me to go to them with her. You guys really should try it. For some reason, the girls who teach dancing are always really hot. MINE, ALL MINE!

I don't know why but I am an excellent dancer. I could waltz even if I was asleep, I tango like there was no tomorrow (thank god for the Finland-ferries!) and I'm on fire on the club floor. For some reason dancing has always come naturally to me and I'm grateful for it, because it seems to impress girls. At least it impressed my way-too-hot-for-me girlfriend.

I just wanted to post a picture I think is.. romantic. Just look at that cuddle Sundin gives to Alfie.. And they both look so happy AWW CUTE! I love that the NHL is back!!
