I think it was 7 years since the Leafs last missed the play-offs. Allison is a good addition (if he's healthy) but I still think this is going to be a painful season. How hard can it be to clean up the roster from everyone over 35 and add some TALENT for once? I wish Toronto could get a Crosby, Ovechkin, Malkin or Zherdev.

How do we know what two unreleased games really are? Maybe Dragon Age is Diablo 3 and Neverwinter Nights 2 is Obsidian's first racing game?

Well, I wasn't interested in this.. Until I noticed the two magic words "Source" and "Arkane" in (almost) the same sentence. I was hoping for Arx Fatalis 2 (as they said it would take place above ground too, this time around), but I will settle for Dark Messiah. Any RPG using the Source engine gets my interest. At least until the first RPGs using the Unreal 3 engine starts appearing.

I'm betting everyone and his grandma is going for the Unreal 3 engine. It's just that good! Streaming maps.. mmm.

I want to add Gothic & Gothic 2 to that list. Oh, and Deus Ex is also a top name to look out for.

Ok, so I finished the Dungeon Siege 2 demo. It was long and actually quite fun. It didn't have many dialogue options, but all in all it was a great step forward compared to the original. It'll be fun to get my hands on it, at least for a while. It felt a lot more like a RPG this time. Anyhow, there's still one little detail that bugs me in the demo: North of the portal in Northern Greilyn Forest (spelling?) there's a ruined wall with a faint outline of a door in it. Behind the wall you can clearly see a path leading up a hill, and on the map you can see red dots moving about (enemies). So far I haven't been able to find whatever it is that opens the door and I can't uninstall the demo until I've found it! Has anyone else solved this little problem?

Because it is OS dependant.

The only thing I don't like about my ATI card is that it's a Microsoft slave (DirectX optimized). I wish ATI would concentrate on the OpenGL API.

Doom 3 stopped being scary and got old after 30 minutes. I demanded a duct tape mod so I could at least see what the hell I was shooting at, as that's all there was to it. It was like playing a black screen in 20 frames per second even though I was way over the system specs. Annoying.

Yeah, she is. Her favourite is (was?) Sailor Moon, she even has the signature melody on her cell phone. My bookcase behind me right now is brimful with her manga. She used to be very active in a Sailor Moon mailing list, and she even did one of the voices in a fan made Sailor Moon radio show. Also, she's attended a few anime conventions. I'm not too fond of it all, because she forces me to see all these weird japanese movies, like Grave of the Fireflies, Spirited Away (which I liked because it reminded me of Alice in Wonderland), Whisper of the Heart, Casshern and a whole lot more. But she likes hockey too so all is forgiven

Well, from what I've seen the women in manga/anime are either overly sexualized (huge boobs, superlong legs and no waist) or tiny girls in school uniforms. And nope, I haven't seen a lot of it, but what I've seen is quite enough, thank you very much. My girlfriend is a manga/anime freak.

I hate how japanese women in manga/anime always has the bodies of a 12 year old. They don't interest me at all.
