Oh well, I wouldn't think you'd get that right either since you're having problems understanding what Mb means when applied to the size of a demo.. . You do know that yards, lbs, foot, inch, stones, gallon, yada yada aren't "international standardz0rz" either..? I'm sure you'll continue your personal little war, but I guess you'll have to live with the fact that I'll continue using Mb and Mbit.

I played Gothic just before I played Morrowind, and to me it was the other way around. Going from Gothic's all-spoken dialogue to Morrowind's no-spoken dialogue felt so.. poor. It was like taking a huge step backwards (or so it felt) and I had problems becoming immersed in Morrowind because of that. Now I don't want anything but voice actors all over the place! I just wish they spent a little more time and money on the actors..

I think Rockstar is one of the most talented development houses out there. They seem to be able to do exactly what they want and get both critics and players on their side with their sick humour and excellent games. I find it sad that they feel they have to be the "bad boys" of computer games all the time. It's like they don't realize that the fun in their games does not stem from the excessive violence or the drug references. And why do I always get so worked up over the fact that when GTA: San Andreas was just one of the most sadistic and violent games out there, noone cared. When one player-made mod turned up to unlock cut-out content in the game, the whole world falls apart and the game is no longer suitable for kids? The stupidity is staggering. Hypocrisy at its finest.

Update: I am still playing the demo (not continuously) and it hasn't ended yet. It's almost the size of a small game. Or Jade Empire.

I don't like that Forsberg is now in a team that's one of the main opponents for Toronto. Ok, so the guy will probably play 40-50 games (if he's having a GOOD year) but still. It annoys me that he chose Philly. By the way: Modano IS a Star again. For 5 more years. Scott Niedermayer is a Mighty Duck. Sigh. Guess Toronto isn't interested in ANYONE this year. I bet they'll dress like.. 16 guys and become the new Penguins (of last year). Sundin is often critizised for not bringing the Cup to Toronto, but he sure as hell could use a little more help than this! Their biggest rival in the Eastern Conference (Philadelphia) has signed Peter Forsberg, Derian Hatcher, Mike Rathje and Chris Therien! Toronto got.. Jeff O'Neill (and unofficially Jason Allison). Gee, I'm so excited. Not. Sometimes it's tough being a Leafs fan. Oh well, it was inevitable since Salming was my childhood idol (and graduation bartender!) and I'm a distant relative to Sundin. My girlfriend is a Tampa Bay Lightning fan. How annoying is that? During my lifetime the Leafs haven't been able to bring home even one Cup. She started rooting for Tampa bay because "they're so fast and their players are so cute" (although I admit she chose them before they were any good). Then the annoying expansion team goes and wins the entire thing!! I had to hide in a cupboard for a week after that.

I told my computer that I'm going to force it to play Oblivion for me, and now it's crying.

I've tried it now. It's much better than the original Dungeon Siege, feels less automated and is quite a bit more difficult (or maybe I just suck at action RPG's?). The graphics are strangely enough on the not-so-impressive side. I was expecting much fancier stuff than what I've found so far. One thing about the demo though: its size impresses. There's tons of stuff to do and find.

Yeah, in Sweden the terms have degenerated into Mb for megabyte and Mbit for megabit. I do know the difference, metadigital, I just choose to use other terms than you. As I said before, the SI aren't laws, just guidelines (and I find it much easier to remember Mb as megabyte). On topic: The demo download just finished, but idiotic Gamer's Hell packed the 1.5 Gb gamefile, thus making me have to unpack it TWICE before installing. It's unpacking for the second time while I am writing this. It'll be fun to see what it looks like now.

""Byte" is most often abbreviated as "B", hence "MB for "megabyte". Sometimes "b" is used for byte (and "bit" for bit), but this can cause confusion because of the much more common use of "b" to mean bit. French-speaking countries sometimes use "o" for "octet". This is also unacceptable in SI because of the risk of confusion with the zero." It's good to hear that the quest journal is similar to the one found in World of Warcraft, because that one is excellent.

Beautiful planes can look real ugly when they attach all those bombs and missiles underneath the wings. For an example, see the F-16 Falcon above.

I used the big crane to swing it around, kind of like a demolition ball. It was fun to see those poor soldiers fly all over the place.
