What is more important in an adventure game?
mkreku replied to Diogo Ribeiro's topic in Computer and Console
Actually, when it comes to adventure games I think I'd say puzzles. That's almost always what kills an adventure game for me; when I have to solve a nuclear disaster using two bits of chewing gum and a rubber band. Of course, I wouldn't even be playing the game if the story sucked, and great characters are what makes you remember the game once you're finished.. Oh, why isn't there a "Too many options!! My head is about to explode!!1" among the vote alternatives?! -
That's the one thing I am happy about. Top-down isometric sucks for immersion (at least for me). The rest of their promises.. Well, time will tell. I won't hate the game before it is even released.

The logo is placed on the pictures (on most sites) to avoid bandwidth stealers, usually competing (smaller) sites. It's much easier to let someone else host the files you're using on your site than to actually pay for the bandwidth yourself. At first we didn't have any logos, but our traffic program went nuts with warnings of theft. That problem completely disappeared with the introduction of the logos. Edit: Forgot a word.

I kind of like this picture. It reminds me of Gothic 2 (which I am currently playing): (Sorry about the logo)

Not a single line adressing the issue we're discussing. Brilliant! Troll away! Or to quote you: Enough of this BS. Mudslinging is only fun if the opposition makes an effort.

My girlfriend was cleaning out her clothes cupboard right now, and look what I found in the pile of "throw away": AVALANCHE THONGS! Just when you think you know a person..

HAHAHA!! Ok, so my sense of humour is weird. But that was damn funny!

I went to Turkey in the summer of 2005. And yes they have som extremely tasty kebap there. BUT (Notice how big that but is!) make sure you bring some.. uh.. food poisoning medicine. I was stuffing my face with as much great turkish food that I could find.. it was unbelievably good, spicy, tasty, delicious.. until I got the worst diarrhea of my life. It lasted two and a half day and I actually crapped my pants twice! It was that bad. I was basically lying in the fetus position, curled up around the toilet for two days. I even named the damn thing (Oh, how I miss thee, Urkel..). When I got home I found out that Turkey is number two on the much coveted Diarrhea Top Ten list (only surpassed by Egypt).

Yeah, well, that pretty much sums up your discussion technique, because to most people with a proper netiquette that's pretty important. You keep concentrating on the trolling and don't give a rat's butt if you construct the posts you oppose yourself. Kind of defeats the purpose of arguing, but hey, if it makes you happy. There's a reason why the words legitimate and target shouldn't be used together concerning human beings. A good read to get a grasp of the way language can be used to market a political agenda: Manufacturing Consent.

You rock.

Because it's fun to sort out the ones who just can't seem to grasp the concept of abstract thinking or simple deduction? Great arguments! Except.. you're discussing the wrong subject. Go back to the former posts, reread them and try again. I just had to include this, because that's the best argument yet!!1 You're so full of wisdom and fact. Or not. Well, since my original post referred to the expression "legitimate target", something which you clearly didn't understand, you're just blabbing. You might just as well stick to the hahaha's, at least they looked funny. Also, I never said anything about weapons. Only a complete moron would claim that "there are no precise weapons" (oops!). The exact quote from my post: There's a huge difference between the terms bombs and weapons. Trying to put (moronic) words into someone else's mouth (post?) is pretty low, even coming from you.

That was a good one. I guess the real world is too ugly for some people to accept. I envy you, though. Not everyone is so lucky to keep their innocence after they've grown pubic hair. Perhaps I'm assuming too much... I knew I had to explain this to somoene, and the odds said it would be you. Gee, what a surprise, 2leet4u not getting it. Here we go again.. One man's hero is another man's villain!!1 Too difficult still? American "legitimate targets" may be national heroes to others. What's stopping american soldiers from being legitimate targets for Juba (or whatever that sniper's name was)? Why is that (Juba) called murdering innocent soldiers in western media while killing who-knows-which iraqi is called a legitimate target? The choice of words is moronic and only help to increase the "we" and "them" mentality that's so inbred in the american mentality. There are no legitimate targets. But please keep hahaha'ing away, it fits your obvious mental capacity very well.

If you're worried about future proofing your computer, try going with one of the Athlon X2 processors by AMD. Most people believe multi core processors are the way of the future, and AMD is without a doubt the best buy for a gamer. Edit: I came up with a word of my own!
-
I'm sorry, but we have to be in the same universe for this discussion to have any relevance. The above cuts from your post shows me you're living on planet Propaganda, with your friend Fox News. There are no "legitimate targets". There are no "extremely accurate" bombs. Sorry.

What demo? I want to play it! ) -
The women and children getting blown to bits by bombs doesn't care if the bombs were carried as a belt or dropped from a few thousand feet above by a stealth bomber. They're plenty dead either way. Biggest difference is that a bomb dropped from the sky can take out an entire block at once.

Toronto needs a win tonight. Badly.

Yerah, but the difference (and the reason it stings in the eyes of the world) is that when Al Qaida kills innocent people they're already labeled as terrorists and target practice for US marines, so even though their acts are as bad (or worse) that's what you expect from a terrorist. But when a nation that tries to go under the self-elected title of "the lighthouse of democracy in the world" and then proceeds to kill off innocents in other nations by the thousands, it stings a little more. Understand the difference?

I only go to the gym to look at girls in tight clothes. Unfortunately I work out in an old bomb shelter (without windows or ventilation) and for some reason there are almost never any girls there..

Just a warning: all finns suffer from a deep Jekyll & Hyde complex. If they ever find themselves in a position of power, they all develop fascistic tendencies. Just look at the border police between Sweden and Fnland!!1

Yeah, I tried out the Vivisector: Beast Within demo the other night (another game Xfire didn't register) and that sucked megaballs too. Not sure if it was made in Russia, but the text was german only. It looked russian

I find it amazing that even when Washington only score one goal, it has Ovechkin's name on it. Sometimes it feels like he's playing all alone in a Washington sweater. And he doesn't have a Malkin to look forward to.

Interesting. Does it have vampires in it? Is it also made by a russian company? I recently saw a very odd vampire movie from Russia called Night Watch. Think they're based on the same universe? I think I'll give this one a try anyhow.
