That doesn't exactly sound like a free trial..?

Yeah, I saw that video already, if it's the same one (where a guy on a bicycle rides by a few moments before the shooting starts). I didn't like it one bit.

I have a few, but I would get in serious trouble with HR " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Free strippers for everybody! Come get your own free stripper here!

I love hearing the replies from some of the guys on this board! "Rich guys clubs are a myth, the most qualified person for the job always gets the job". Those statements should not come from someone whose entire nation is run by Dubyah.. ) I do, however, agree that such a law would be a bit drastic. I'm for equal rights but it has to be phased out and not enforced in a single law.

By the way.. I've been invited to a press showing of Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach next tuesday. Just thought I'd throw that in here for no reason whatsoever )

SHUT UP, I am trigger happy. I kept running out of ammo, ok?! )

Pool of Radiance (the original from like.. 1988 or so) sure as hell didn't! Max level for a fighter was 8 (I think) and for mages it was even lower.. 6 or so. That game still took probably 50 hours to complete, unless you were using a guidebook/walkthrough. Best D&D game I've ever played. Edit: Wrong year.

I completed Separate Ways today, Ada Wong's extra levels you get when you buy the Playstation 2 version and complete thw main game on normal. I've also started a game on Professional level, but I have a hard time believeing I will be able to finish the game on that setting. I thought the Normal difficulty was hellish. Oh well. JUST PLAY IT.

Official Obsidian Battlefield 2 Ranked Server Up!
mkreku replied to Constant Gaw's topic in Computer and Console
Someone should sticky this thread.. or at least sticky the Obsidian server ip. I hate having to search for this thread everytime I consider trying Battlefield 2 again. Of course, I could save it as a favourite in my server list.. naah. -
Have you played Jade Empire? 13-15 hours of RPG goodness and shoot'em up crappiness and it was over. I almost felt guilty for suggesting the game to my cousin (who bought the damn thing).

No, the secondary ending is just something that let's interested people find out more about the story. It's probably 3-5 hours long, tops. It's just a small part after you've finished the game and beaten the final boss. The draconic challenge (I think that's the correct name) is a series of battles that you have to win in order to get the best items in the game. I only had the patience for a few.

Speaking of bad self insight.. One time there lived an overweight girl in my dorm. She always whined about how she ate nothing and still couldn't lose any weight and everyone felt sorry for her because it seemed she was telling the truth. She really seemed to eat very little (from what I saw), although she sat on her butt in the dorm common room watching TV from when she came home from school until she went to her room to sleep. A little more active way of life surely could have helped her. Anyhow, after a few months me and a couple of guys in the dorm bought these expensive channels so we could watch NHL at night. One night when I snuck out of my dorm room to get ready for a game, I bumped into her in the kitchen. She had just taken a box of Bigpack (swedish icecream, about half a gallon big) out of the fridge and was pouring an entire jar of hot strawberry jam on it (I had heard the microwave pinging as I walked through the dorm hallway), which she intended to eat all by herself. It was a very awkward moment.

Me and my girlfriend finished Dragon Quest 8 (both endings and with some progress on the dragon challenge) in 101 hours. And we had fun the entire time! Actually, I wish there had been more of it. 30-40 hours.. Oh well, the game comes with a toolset, so it's not so bad. I, too, was hoping for a longer main story though.

The PROOF is here. Llyranor has made it clear! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That has to be the lamest story ever. EVER. E.V.E.R. Or can someone think of a worse story..?

My experience with people who claim they eat a lot and never gain any weight is that they consider a cracker "a lot". When I lived in a dorm we had plenty of super computer nerds who all claimed they ate a lot and they looked like pale matchstick men every one of them. And everytime we had a dorm party and they had to eat while everyone else could see (they usually sat in their rooms playing Dark Age of Camelot or Diablo 2 and never even came out to eat), they couldn't even finish a pizza. George Foreman used to eat like 12 hamburgers for lunch. That's a lot.

No asian looks asian in the eyes of an asian. Uh.. When asian designers draw asian eyes, they look like ours. No idea why, but that's only my opinion so I don't need to explain why. Nyah nyah!

The camera is free, as in you look at what you want to look at. The controls are still the same old "rotate around your own axis" thing. You can't strafe, which is something most people feel very uncomfortable with for the first 15 minutes. But you'll get used to it eventually and the game is well worth the hassle.

I'm waiting for Psychonauts to be released in Sweden. Then I'll be playing that.

The rug makes the first picture look like you're looking inside a doll house. The weave is so big (were they using hemp rope to make it?) that it looks like normal fabric does in a close up. Also, both pictures lack "details" (for a lack of a better word). You know, those silly things that you don't notice at first but makes you able to distinguish one room from another. Like in Gothic 2 (I'm replaying it right now, which is why I am using it as an example) where the alchemist has skeletons hidden under his ceiling (no idea why), the bowyer has stuffed animals on the walls and the herbalist has potions and flowers in his shelves. Gothic 2 is brimful with these tiny little details strewn everywhere, and I hope Obsidian takes the time to add this stuff to Neverwinter Nights 2. A believable world is also part of immersion..

Anyone know if the volcano has a name?

Why do the screenshots look so.. generic? There's no style to anything. A fireplace is a fireplace and all that. I do hope the finalized version looks a bit more alive.

Looks like Svatos is trying to win the rookie goal scoring title.. if there was such a title. Ovechkin, look out!

Is it static or does it scroll? Anyhow, it's nice to see a world map again. Long time since I played a modern game that had one of those. I miss the days of Pool of Radiance, Wasteland and Ultima (although Ultima never had any maps exactly like that, it had a huge world map in a different scale than the towns and dungeons).
