The only reason I won't let my kids (whenever I get kids) play videogames is that I don't think it's healthy to be playing CounsterStrike for 16 hours a day. I want my kids to participate in sports, spend time outside and build themselves a real life network of friends. I actually believe videogames can be good for kids, but only up to a certain amount of playtime per day. Also, I wouldn't let my five year old play BloodRayne or GTA..

I solved a quest that gave me a spell called "Finger of the Mountain" or something similar, and I thought it would be cool, as it said it was supposed to be powerful. So I checked my spellist to see if I could cast it: damn thing needed 4500+ mana to cast ONCE! Of course, once I raised my puny Destruction skills from 9 to 15, it came tumbling down to 4000+ mana per cast.. Still a bit much. I guess that spell is for when you're at the top of your game.

Maybe Bioware is like the computer developer's equivalent of Britney? I mean, it's flawlessly produced, it appeals to the masses but if you look at it closely it's just an average product under the hype. I wonder if that would make Piranha Bytes the Franz Ferdinand of computer developers?

Actually, I follow that 20%-free-HD-space rule myself. Windows is a stupid system that really runs a lot better with lots of space left on the HD. It's a performance thing for me, nothing else.

Nice to finally see Sundin among the top 50 players in the scoring race. Personally I believe he belongs in the top 20, but I guess catching a puck in your eye the first thing you do in a season isn't the right way to go if you want to compete for the top spots. Ok, so Toronto's next game is against the Islanders on away ice. That doesn't look too impossible, but Atlanta faces Washington at home, so they'll have an easier time getting those next two points. Tampa faces Carolina on away ice, so they have a very real possibility of losing their next game too! It will take a miracle to make it, but I guess after last night.. I shouldn't give up hope until it's over. If Toronto wins their game against the Islanders, they're going up against Ottawa (on home ice) again for the season-breaker of a game! I really hope they win it against the Islanders so the motivation is peaking when they face Ottawa. It would be sooo nice to see them win ONE in the eight game series. Although, seeing how much problems they had dispatching Florida at home.. Ottawa is a whole other beast.
