I'm still kind of proud of my Leafs. They really battled hard in the last 10 games of the season. 8 wins and 2 overtime losses in the last 10 (meaning 18 out of 20 possible points) is pretty damn good. Mats Sundin wasn't helped by getting that puck in his eye in the first game of the season, and he missed 12 games because of it. After that, it took a long time for him to regain his form and full vision on the eye. At least he finished the season with an 11 game long point streak (I don't care about the two remaining games) during which he scored 10 goals and added 10 helpers for 20 points. If only that puck hadn't hit him.. and Belfour would have been hurt MUCH sooner.. and and and.. It will be very strange to not care about the playoffs for the first time in.. many years. I imagine I won't watch a single game. See you in the autumn, NHL!

I got 17 of them For the record: whatever that test measures, it sure as hell isn't intelligence. A real intelligence test does not require the user to apply knowledge to his answers, something which this test most certainly does.

Unfortunately, right now the Leafs are out of the playoffs anyhow I can't watch the Hurricanes-Bolts game so I'm going to bed. I guess it'll take a miracle for the Leafs to make it now.

Yeah, I agree about the goalie thing. They're not really comparable to the rest of the players on the ice. I mean, they get to stand there for 60 minutes getting all the attention in the world while the other players play in 45 second shifts.

Oh great. The world's ugliest signature picture is spreading. Just my luck. Anyhow, I installed a huge pack of mods (the OMOD package) the other night, activated most of them after reading their descriptions. When I started up the game, my framerate had dropped 10 fps, the textures on my glass armour was missing and the game crashed within one minute. I HATE PLAYER MADE MODS!! Although I still use the LOD and distant texture mods.. they're awesome.

Jagr didn't get any points in Rangers loss tonight. Thornton has two points from the first period alone, in a game that's still being played. That means Thornton has passed Jagr in the points race. We'll see what he ends up with after tonight.

Just remember to boil them alot before eating. If you haven't boiled them enough (the dry foods, that is) you'll get a laxative stronger than anything you've experienced in your life. It's almost like drinking milk that has frozen to ice. *SPLOOSH* goes your bum. [/disgusting stories]

It drops like candy for me, being level 46. Also, I usually get a lot of stuff off corpses, then I realize I am over-encumbered. So I drop the stuff on the road where I beat the latest bandit. Surprisingly enough, the game remembers every single piece of equipment I've ever left in the world! Wherever I walk now I keep finding signs of some ancient battle.. Is that a sign you've played too much?

Oh crap, I just made fun of Avril Lavigne in another thread. ANYHOW.. I installed a great mod the other night that adds a lot of detail and much better textures for those far-away sights. Unfortunately I don't know the name of it, but it's part of that OMOD package of mods. I really recommend it. I haven't noticed any decrease in performance, but it makes the game much prettier to look at.

Really? Then I apologize. Of course Jagr should get the MVP! Stupid me was under the impression that he was playing on a team called New York Rangers, not that he was the Rangers. Win every draw, skate against five other players and still manage to score 54 goals, all unassisted. Wow. Does he even have time to stand in goal between his own goal scoring?

Thornton's first 23 games (without Cheechoo): 9 goals 24 assists, 33 points. He can't do that to others? The guy had 33 points in 23 games before being traded! It's not like he wasn't doing his part in Boston, but apparently he needed a fresh change of air.

Cheechoo: --- 2002-2003 66 games 09 goals 07 assists (without Thornton) 2003-2004 81 games 28 goals 19 assists (without Thornton) 2005-2006 79 games 51 goals 34 assists (with Thornton for the last 56-57 games or so) Before Thornton (this season): 7 goals/23 games. (0.30 goals per game) After Thornton (this season): 44 goals/57 games. (0.77 goals per game) You really have no clue what a playmaker is, do you? Because that's a seriously stupid thing to say.

Hahaha, Dallas again! By the way, Thornton should really get that MVP award, whatever it's called (name slips my mind). The guy has been unbelievably since the trade. He basically took the team into the playoffs and made Cheechoo (WHO??) into a 50+ goal scorer. That's impressive.

It's insane that no Leafs player has scored 30 or more goals this season. And only three have scored 20 or more! No wonder they are where they are in the standings. I mean, Detroit (for an unusually bad example) has eight players with 20 goals or more and two players with 30 or more. I just wish we had the goaltending from the start. That would have solved a lot of problems. Edit: Wrong word replaced.

Ohno. Atlanta leads Washington 4-3 and Toronto are playing bad against the Islanders (2-2 at the time of writing). Ohno.. Edit: Woo! 3-2 Leafs! Stajan scored! Another overtime win for the Leafs! I don't know how much more my heart can take. Unfortunately Atlanta looks like they are winning over Washington, although Washington has at least put up a good fight.
