  1. The Ankh adventures are also in Africa (Egypt).
  2. You mean the "Advance three steps, throw Waking Nightmare, cast Storm of the Century" battle? I had an inkling that one was supposed to be epic.
  3. If TES V would take place in Akavir I'd be interested. But everything points to it taking place in Skyrim... which is the most boring province aside from Cyrodiil (basically Solstheim, but bigger and with more Ricklings)... while Akavir has monkey people, snow demons, serpent vampires & tiger-dragons. Then again, there is some interesting Skyrim lore surrounding the Greybeards and Tiber Septim's origins that could possibly be explored. Not to mention, it would be pretty cool being able to play as a Nord mage possessing the thu'um.
  4. Screw both. I wants Divinity 3.
  5. Just wait til Heavy Rain comes out... David Cage >> Peter Molyneux
  6. It's a bit insane that Earthquake doesn't work on stationary enemies. Put the ground underneath a group of archers at level 7 on the Richter scale and still they are happily using your party as pin cushions. Oh well, awaiting another mod.
  7. Berserker seems to fit DW warriors really well.
  8. She seemed like she was going to be an important character in the beginning of the game... she even got her own codex entry. But in the end, she's just another corpse to add to the pile. Pretty disappointing. I actually surrendered the first time, but found that "Leviathan" prison section pretty lame so I reloaded and killed her.
  9. I know a couple of adventure game that take place in Africa. RPG games, nope.
  10. If Tier 4 Shapechange would've been a Dragon form, it could've been worth considering. But I guess that'll be another future mod.
  11. Mana Drain eventually leads to Mana Clash, which is an awesome spell. In fact, if enemies would use this spell on your mages, the game would be almost impossible to play. Spell Might is a great spell since it is necessary for Storm of the Century combo, but again you need to take 2 crap spells to gain access to it... so in the end one might as well simply take Inferno.
  12. I'd rather go for the sensitive guy that hides his insecurities by cracking wise constantly, but eventually loses his shell and tells me all about his traumatic childhood.
  13. Unless they make their games seem bad by releasing cheesy trailers.
  14. BG&E 2 is being made as we speak.
  15. There's a lore reason why it is called "Dragon Age".
  16. Ferelden = Rohan with dogs? Tevinter Imperium falling to blood magic reminded me of the Roman Empire & the Mithras cult decadence.
  17. ^Where did you find that Red Dragon?
  18. That seems to be the culprit, thanks.
  19. The title "Dragon" Age certainly puts a limit on the time when a sequel takes place. If they fast-forward a couple of centuries, it can't exactly be called Dragon Age anymore.
  20. Can anyone explain why my mage's fatigue is 10%, even when completely stripped naked? Is this a bug? I reckon it should 0.0% You're invulnerable as arcane warrior against everything save bosses, but due to the huge fatigue penalty basically you'll only be able to cast Blood Magic spells. So basically it's pretty boring... auto-attacking every mook to death.
  21. One might as well respec and make Wynne & Morrigan Arcane Warriors. That would break the game completely.
  22. Somebody should make a Demon Merchant mod. Summon him whenever your pack is full so you can sell some litter. Similar to the djinn merchant in Hordes of the Underdark.
  23. Storm of the Century > Fireball
