  1. I wouldn't surprised if the Hungarians were so hardc0re that they actually managed to finish the entire game in those 24 hours.
  2. Lulz, somebody just spent twenty minutes or so using the Dog to lure mooks towards a huge group of allies + the party so they could be slaughtered one-by-one. It's the spiritual successor to BG alright!
  3. What difficulty are they playing on? I saw someone setting off some colourful spell in the middle of everything and it didn't seem to hurt that much.
  4. Benelux is slowly crawling to the top. Yey.
  5. I mistakingly installed the Faster Degradation mod and now bullets & rockets are evaporating in flight. At least it makes the combat more challenging.
  6. Don't forget to patch the game. It only takes an hour or so.
  7. Do flags with "BANG!" come out of the weapons' barrels in the German version ?
  8. Enter Point Lookout at level 10 and things aren't easy at all, because the enemies cheat. If 5 mooks are shooting at you and each do 35 irresistible damage, it becomes a retarded stimpak spamfest quickly. First time I was wondering why my power-armoured girlscout was taking damage at all in her T-51b. I had to mod that crap out.
  9. Sex, lies & videogames Warning: spoilarz
  10. This game is going to be big in Afghanistan.
  11. Once I hit level 5 or so, things became a lot less interesting. Hmm... that must have come pretty quick then. Leave Vault 101 -> level 2. Clear out Springvale School -> level 3. Enter Megaton, do first chapter of Moira's quests -> level 4.
  12. Is there actually a good ending for Kaelyn? Even wiping out that floating skull doesn't lead to anything even remotely nice.
  13. Melee combat looks a bit like Dungeon Siege, with two guys just hacking away at each other until one falls. Are there dodges & parries? That is a thing Drakensang did really well.
  14. Pretty stupid not to set a tree to fire. Or let Morrigan shapeshift into Paul Bunyan.
  15. There was an easy way to cheese out of it. Suppress, travel from Mulsantir to for instance Ashenwood & rinse and repeat until both your spirit meter was full and your hunger meter empty. Drawback of this method was watching an eternity of loading screens.
  16. I can't watch that video due to it not being available in my third world country. But since I surmize it's the Europe song, I guess that's a good thing. I'd rather get rick-rolled than listening to that.
  17. Carrying around spare weapons wasn't really necessary with so many human enemies around. Kill them, take their weapon and repair yours on the spot. I also had the impression weapons degraded less fast with high repair skill, though I could be wrong. Most of the unique weapons all have a very high durability, too, compared to their lesser cousins. Especially the unique plasma rifle & lincoln's repeater.
  18. "You fiend!" Strangely enough, I didn't mind the constant need to soul-sucking in Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver. But that's because it was never a problem with the constant barrage of enemies thrown at you. In MOTB there are large areas without any soul available... and if you've gone chaotic evil and been sucking every available spirit in the game, increasing your hunger to the max, it means you're pretty much screwed until the next [Devour Spirit] dialogue option. Of course, it hardly matters since your henchmen can solo the game anyway.
  19. I don't like role-playing as Elric of Melnibon
  20. The only thing I can think of that is more immershun breaking than that, is a BSOD.
  21. There are Yao Guai & Deathclaws at level 1 in the western part of the map. I don't think there's level scaling, only area scaling.
  22. Is it possible to play this game as a mage?
