  1. Gothic 3 & Risen are other examples. Aside from Risen's evil horde of doom, all factions in those games are as bad/good as the others as well.
  2. It's a fun action/adventure game with lite RPG elements. Only really disappointing thing is that you get to make lots of choices throughout the game, but the consequences of those choices are never shown. The game's ending sucks royally, in true German developer style. Warriors are boring, man, Amazon is the way to go: Drakensang's Imoen Chick:
  3. Is that the Japanese version of Sesame Street?
  4. Thanks for posting this. I'm going to give it a try. Drakensang was my favourite game of the year after Divinity 2.
  5. Demo availible as of today.
  6. This beats a Mabari wardog. This NPC is voiced by Kirill Pokrovsky himself
  7. That exploit is why it is possible for people to solo the game on Nightmare. It's simply bad AI. In Divinity 2 or Drakensang stuff like this doesn't work, attack one enemy and the entire group comes looking for your blood. But a nice thing about Divinity 2 is rangers get a special stealth skill that allows them to lure enemies away one by one without aggroing an entire group.
  8. All those delightfully rocky planets are all out there, just waiting to be rolled over again.
  9. Beyond Good & Evil 2 Dreamfall Chapters Syberia 3 Divinity 3 TES V Drakensang: the River of Time Demonicon: the Dark Eye The Witcher 2
  10. In the Wheel of Time, channeling magic gives magic users longer lifespans, while retaining their good looks. Maybe it's the same in Dragon Age.
  11. When a two-hander attacks I always have the feeling one could read through War & Peace before the attack lands.
  12. ^Wouldn't that be up to Bethesda?
  13. This game is worth playing alone for the outlandish plot twists Cage will undoubtedly come up with.
  14. I still need to generate some savegames for ME 2. Yey.
  15. In hindsight I regret giving my mage Earthquake & Petrify. Earthquake looked cool, but it never seemed to do what it was supposed to do, i.e. stop enemies in their tracks. In the endgame, I discovered Grease always works when I gave it to Wynne. Combined with Fireball it's just silly powerful. Imo it should've been possible to trade in a spell for another one each level up. This would've given the opportunity for the player to try out everything and discover what works and what doesn't.
  16. MOTB. Soon I'll probably play something else since I'm about to head to the Thaymount which is one big *yawn* level. I might continue with my Dalish Elf archer rogue in DA.
  17. Epic fights require epic spells. The lich king in that area can cast hellball, so is at least level 27. On another note, Safiya's Wail of the Banshee wiped out all Shadowmasters in one go, and even wiped out the entire Berserker lodge. So much for high fortitude saves.
  18. Safiya > Morrigan
  19. Keep it up, and you might get a job with Bethesda.
  20. The only technical problem I'm having with FO3 is horrible frame skipping.
