  1. The FO3 facial presets were better, at least for females (males look fugly no matter how many hours one fiddles with sliders). I didn't find my favourite African American & Caucasian preset. Also, was HDR this terrible in FO3? The sky is on fire over the Mojave.
  2. "Antoinette" I made a dumb but lucky character, purely in the hopes for funny dialogue & enemy mishaps. I raised 2 stats to superhuman levels to make up for the fewer skill points. Low strength because any armour beyond leather looks fugly and henceforth shall not be worn + my character will rely on stealth as much as possible (and otherwise run away rather than trying to eat something larger than her head). Tagged: Sneak, Guns, Speech Perks: Kamikaze (I'm a VATS whore), Wild Wasteland (more laughs)
  3. Yo guyz is there really low-intelligence dialogue in this game?
  4. The game is like a peculiar mix of Dungeon Siege & Arcanum. First time I played as a typical melee character, which was boring and didn't work out since the game railroads the player into becoming a mage. Playing as a mechanic/gunslinger works very well and is a lot of fun, but overpowered combined with magic. Prime reason I replayed though, is because I found a fix for the bug that prevented one to finish the game in English.
  5. I have the game. Thanks for the shirt, guyz. Hilarious
  6. If it's the same as in FO3, it's press and hold R.
  7. Oh, I'm still using 2007 drivers for my 8800GT. I expect it to not run worse than FO3; then again I applied several tweaks to the fallout3.ini for multithreaded CPU use & memory optimization.
  8. BioWare & Bethesda, the companies nobody supposedly likes but everybody buys games from. R00fles!
  9. It starts a bit slow, but once you get a full party and you get a variety of skills the game becomes really fun. The story & setting even made me interested enough to look into the book.
  10. Apparently it runs like ass with Nvidia cards.
  11. Doesn't a high Medicine skill allow to fix broken limbs?
  12. For a Russian game, translation is pretty darn fine
  13. New Vegas Creature Mod released.
  14. Bethesda only cares because they want to dish out a Fallout 4 in the future themselves. They didn't care about Rogue Warrior or Call of Cthulhu.
  15. I only had freezing issues with FO3 in the beginning because of some issue with a sound codec. It almost never CTDed. The frameskipping is the major annoyance for me since it is very noticable on my computer and gives me a headache after fifteen minutes of play. I don't think Oblivion ever crashed on me. Morrowind, on the other hand... crashed every half hour due to a subpar rig at the time. It is kinda amusing how Bethesda is allegedly working with an updated version of Gamebryo while Obsidian conveniently received the scrap version.
  16. Did FO3 & Oblivion have freezing issues on the X360?
  17. "It is not a bug, it is a feature!"
  18. I hear a patch is out? Does it include the above fix or does this issue only exist with Steam version?
  19. Are the British polite too polite to burn some cars?
  20. I don't have Awakening so didn't know about that. I didn't have problems with fatigue as a two-handed warrior in the dragonscale armour, but as a sword&board in dragonbone with shield wall & precise striking activated I could only use two or three skills before being reduced to auto-attack.
  21. Still waiting for Friday to pick it up. Greg Kasavin was good.
  22. I'm eagerly awaiting the True Hardcore, aka Potty Break, Mod.
