It's not like you need any money, anyway, unless you want to buy the awesome Anti-Materiel Rifle (although a regular Sniper rifle + Psycho one-shots everything outside of the Legendary deathclaw) and get all implants. There's powerful weapons & armour all over the place, and even easier to find than in FO3. Only stuff I bought was some harder to find ammo for my companions.

I bought one chip in each casino, played blackjack for 5 minutes, then used my newly garnered 1,000 chips on the slots and after two minutes I got either 3 grapes or 3 oranges. Ka-ching! I'm awaiting a No Casino Ban mod, in fact.

I'm level 30 and still haven't encountered one of those veteran rangers with their fancy armour yet. I also encountered the female Elf voice from Oblivion a couple of times already (Dazzle, Lacey); which is weird, since I don't remember her (conspicuous) voice being present in FO3.

I really enjoyed the [black Widow] route to nail Benny (literally and figuratively). The dialogue also seemed to fit my character's 2 INT perfectly.

Does Boone have the Sniper, Better Criticals & Commando perks or something? Compared to him, Cass doesn't kick so much ass with a rifle, even with This Machine more often than not she needs quite a few shots to kill things. I'm also suspecting Cass has the Cowboy/Gunslinger perk, since with a Hunting revolver or .44 magnum she seems to be way more effective.

One can't be too picky. Though unfortunately a threesome with Fisto was not possible.

Does the game ever explain the arcane messages to the "Sixth Courier" spread across the Wasteland, not to mention why the courier in Primm that was originally going to do the job, freaked out and cancelled the job when he noticed the main character's name on the list? I was expecting some plot twist, but it's just not coming.

Maybe it's because I'm not a native English speaker myself, but I saw nothing wrong with that piece.

So was Vault 11 supposed to have a grand revelation? I found the thingamajig for the BoS, but got so annoyed with the companion AI that suddenly went berserk as soon as I had entered the Vault, not to mention not being able to find a way through the Vault's labyrinthine depths due to the horrible PipBOY map, that I left. I swear the stupid PipBOY wanted to me to clip through a wall to reach a corridor.

I'm greatly disappointed by Wayne Newton in the game. He doesn't even reach Three Dog's heels. But in general, the radio in NV is sorely lacking. Enclave Radio never got old for me in FO3, and it even made sense that Eden's propaganda & "America the Beautiful" were on an endless loop. Same goes for Agatha's station.

Personally I find the Denerim parts before the Archdemon way worse than the Fade or the Deep Roads. Also, Howe's estate. I savoured the very few parts of the game where I could skip combat, especially that part where it involved selling Elves into slavery.

Best ME2 ending is where Shepard and only Zaeed survive. That way it fits with his old war stories where he always comes out as sole survivor.

Hopefully Kal Sharok is in the game. That seemed like an interesting location from what was written in-game. Tevinter city would be interesting as well.

So I was going to investigate the Silver Rush for Cass who was getting impatient with me delaying to acquire evidence; the guard asked me to leave behind all my weapons at the door, which I didn't exactly protest against since my character has 100 Speech, but then upon entering some guy thanked me for bringing Cass to him, a previously unknown quest updated (lolwut?) and suddenly everyone wanted to kill her and me. Hence out-of-the-blue I was caught unarmed in a firefight with 8 goons or so. The only that was missing, was the door locking behind me, Alpha Protocol-style. I had to run outside, where my guns magically re-equipped and killed everyone upon re-entering (the goons mostly carried energy weapons, which thankfully suck balls in this game).

I lost ED-E's entire inventory (tons of ammo, unique weapons & some armour) when he returned after turning him in for his quest. I raged. About gambling: has anyone managed to win anything with roulette? My high LCK character can easily win tons of money with slots or blackjack, but with roulette it doesn't seem to work.

Veronica with Pushy is even 'worse' than Boone. At the end of her quest I got ambushed by several BoS Paladins wielding gauss rifles & gatling rifles, and she killed them all in two hits basically. Only deathclaws can hurt her now, since their attacks ignore DT.

Because defused bombs aren't supposed to go off. Especially if the quest journal mentions you've succesfully defused the bomb.

Wait for the FO3 Restoration Mod.

Apparently if you had talked to the mole in the tower previously, the monorail will blow up no matter what you do. Needs to be patched.

I ran into the monorail quest bug. Reloaded ten times and the few times I managed to reach the monorail in time and defused the bomb, it still exploded. R00fles!

Exploration is pretty danger-free in NV if you have ED-E and Boone/Veronica. But the game did give me quite a fright when I wandered into Dead Wind Cavern.
