You should start with Arena. It doesn't take that long to beat compared to Daggerfall due to less exhaustive dungeons and no learn-by-doing mechanics.

Watch some videos. There's not even auto-attack, you need to hold down a button. Plus it's a cluster**** of special effects, like PoE in 3D.
